The meeting had went on for a long time, because it had already became nine at night before they were finished. I turned off my lights, make my way over to the window. I noticed many cars leaving.
I walk over to the light switch. Turning my lights back on. I went on with the Flash which was currently playing on my tv. I hear my door open, then close.
"Listen Sage, I'm sorry about getting you in trouble earlier." Jazz's voice bounces around my head.
"It's not your fault, come sit." I reply.
She walks over and sits on my bed. I sat in the bungee chair that was besides my desk.
"I love the flash. Barry Allen is the cutest. If only we had more people like him our world." Jazz says.
"Well our world is full of crime lords who do drugs and other unimportant crap." I reply. Jazz laughs, she had the cutest smile and laugh.
"Well Francisco seems to pissed off with you and me. When I came home, he gave the scariest glare." Jazz says.
"I know he's mad at me. He was screaming at me after you left and on our way back here." I reply. Jazz furrows her eyebrows.
"He's overreacting. Like he needs to understand that you're an adult not twelve years old." Jazz says folding her arms.
"You tell that to Francisco. He told me that I lost his trust." I reply placing my phone on the table besides my bed.
"He's probably just saying that to threaten you. He can't be serious." Jazz says. I slumped in the chair.
"I wouldn't know because I'm not him and he told me I couldn't come upstairs till the meetings were over." I reply.
"Well I'll tell you who ended up getting the job. Three of the thirty four that tried out. Well technically five, but two of them live North of New Jersey estate." Jazz explains.
"Who?" I ask, hoping that Rafael end of up getting the job.
"Liam, Rafael, and Matías. They're living in our estate. I'm not too sure about the others two name." Jazz answers. I almost jumped into my bed out of excitement.
"I'm so happy that Rafael made it in." I reply. Jazz looks over at me. She gives me a smirk. "What?"
"Do you have feelings for Rafael?" Jazz ask looking at me.
"No, it's just he came down to me earlier, asking for prepping advice." I answer smiling uncontrollably.
"Well, if Francisco finds out you've been talking to Rafael. He's going to be so pissed off." Jazz replies.
"Who cares? Francisco is mad all the time to even think that's a big issue." I deny that idea. She gives me a sarcastic smile.
"Did you forget the part where he's part of the mafia. Yelling at you and pushing you around is the smallest thing he can do." Jazz reminds me.
"I don't forget and how can I. After he took everything from me. Halle, my Grandma, and college. The only thing that will get me to my dream job." I reply.
"Well, I am going to bed. Since it's going to be a busy day for me tomorrow." Jazz acknowledges me. I nod. She gets off my bed and walks over to my door. Before I know she's gone.
I got back onto my bed. Laying my head against the pillow. My relaxation was intruded when my door bursted open. I look over to find Francisco already half way towards my door. The door was shut.
"What the hell are you pulling down here? Rafael supposedly knows where your bedroom is?" Francisco ask.
"I know you're upset me with after what happen when Jazz took to the club. But I wanted to help him. He asked for prepping. He was nervous. Don't put your anger on his shoulders, put it on me." I answer sitting up.
"Don't worry I wasn't planning on putting it on Rafael anyways. You will be helping Sofia with chores. No live here and be free." Francisco replies.
"It can't be that hard anyways." I say.
"Believe what you want." Francisco replies. I had to keep myself from laughing at Francisco.
"That's not even that bad." I say.
"You didn't even let me finish. You are not allowed outside the house without letting Martinez or me know." Francisco drops the news.
"You're kidding right. You take over my life and now this. Might as well just tell me I can't brush my teeth or do my makeup without your consent." I reply, that's just a little too far.
"I mean if that's what you really want. I could add that." Francisco says sternly.
"No, I love the rule the way it is." I reply in a very sarcastic tone. Francisco walks over to my dresser, I notice when he grabs my phone from.
"That was not part of the plan." I say getting off my bed quickly.
"I don't care. You broke my trust. And I can't trust you with a phone. Who knows maybe you will call the police." Francisco replies walking out of my room. As much as I wanted to chase him out of my room to take it back, that would not help my part at all.
I sat on my bed laying there as I continued to watch the Flash. When the time came around to about nine. I got off, pausing the Flash. I took about a ten minute shower. Five minutes to wash my hair and the other half to think of mourning my phones disappearance.
I wouldn't consider myself obsessed with my phone, but it did help me survive through my embarrassing moments or help me get out of places, by just calling Grandma.
Tomorrow was going to be a better day. I was going to help Sofia with chores and fix things up for them. Francisco would wish he put more anger onto me. I was going to make him think that taking my phone away, was less of my worries.
Making my way back over to my bed. I pulled the beaded string down to turn off the lamp. Finding myself in complete darkness.
Closing my eyes and hoping for the next day to arrive already. I had lost Francisco's trust and he was the only one in the estate who knew mostly everything about me. Including my secrets.
