My cheek swelled up in sharp pain. I didn't know Francisco could punch that hard. I fell to the blue mat. Francisco shoves Tom. But Tom didn't care, he kneeled down next to me quickly.

"Are you okay?" Tom ask.

"My cheek hurts, but I think I'll be fine." I answer glaring at the side of Francisco. He turns to look at me.

He unclenched his fist before kneeling down besides me. He dropped his expression to a guilty look. I couldn't be too mad, it was out of context. Are you dumb Sage? The man punched you.

"Sage I am so sorry. I didn't mean for any of that to happen. You can punch me in the gut as many times as you want." Francisco says looking at me.

"What the hell is going on down here." Martinez yells, Sofia besides him.

Sofia runs down. She kneels down besides me. Francisco stood up, walking over to Martinez. Tom following behind him.

"What happened?" Sofia ask rubbing my back. I felt the tears reach the top of the bottom eye lid.

"Francisco punched me, but it was unintentional." I answer in a whisper.

"You two need to stop arguing and learn to get along or this will result into serious consequences." Martinez replies in a loud stern voice. Francisco, you will only be allowed at the estate during the day. At night you will be returning to your apartment. It is not safe for her to be around someone who can't keep their anger controlled. Till this Thursday."

"Okay, if it keeps Sage safe, then I'm fine with it." Francisco said calmly.

I frown at him. He walks up the stairs. Sofia helped me up, even though I didn't need it. As much as I wanted to go after Francisco. It was the right thing for him to leave.

I walk up the stairs with Sofia. She made her way to the freezer, opening it to grab a ziplock full of ice. She was always prepared.

She handed it to me as I placed it against my cheek. The front door opened. Valeria walked in. She had on black leggings, a crop top, leather jacket, with white Nike shoes.

She had a handful of paper bags. Sofia ran over helping Valeria carrying them onto the counter top. I hear someone walking down the stairs.

It was Francisco. He was only carrying his car keys in his hand. I saw his phone in his jogger pockets, which he had changed the pants. Originally wearing black ripped jeans.

"Francisco where are you going?" Valeria asked concernedly.

"Just to my apartment, since things didn't end too well between Tom and I." Francisco answers.

"Oh, okay." Valeria replies in confusion. Francisco forces the door open, it slams. I looked at Sofia.

She shrugged her shoulders. They just continued on with organizing the groceries. I walked past Valeria and Sofia. Down the stairs to my bedroom.

It has been nearly a week and a half since I have phone in my hands. I didn't want to go to Francisco's room taking it back. He was upset enough already.

Francisco

I unlocked my car door. That stupid Tom. It was always Tom and it's never changed. He's the reason why Martinez and I weren't as close as we used to be.

I couldn't blame this at all on Sage. Tom had a point. She was just a teenager, here I was. A full twenty three year old adult.

I'm the immature one. I had to wait four full days till I could even come back, but I wanted to apologize to Sage. Even if it didn't matter.

At least I know, I did something right. Even if it was going to keep me in guilt for a while. Martinez was also upset or he was more disappointed at Tom and I. Mostly me, since we have known each other for almost thirteen years.

Martinez has only know Tom for five or four years. What annoyed me most was that Tom dates Sage was a day, acts like he knows her like I do. Please.

I know Sage more than she knows herself. Sage dating Tom. He didn't seem like her type. After talking to myself for what had seemed like forever.

I finally reached my apartment. Parked in the parking lot. I grab my phone from my jogger pockets. Typing in my passcode, 8686. It unlocks.

I started to call Jo. Even if it might be interrupting his date with Halle. I could care less about her.

"Hello?"

"Yes, may I talk to Halle please?" I ask.

"Yep. Halle Francisco wants to talk to you." I hear Jo talking to Halle.

"What's up Francisco? I didn't know you would actually talk to me after what happened between you and Sage." Halle begins before laughing.

"Are Tom and Sage a thing. Don't lie to me or I will take Jo from your hands. I have the power to do that. Believe me, I can." I reply in a stern voice.

"Tom and Sage are not a thing. It was all part of Tom's idea to make you jealous. Sage agreed to it." Halle says.

"That bi-" I couldn't continue my sentence full when Halle says.

"Yeah, I'm not listening to you swearing at your friends. Bye now." Halle stops me hanging up the phone.

This why I hate the fact Sage found Halle as a best friend. There's over two thousand students at her school and apparently Halle was one she choses.

The women at the desk welcomes me as I walked through the door. She leans over the counter.

"Aren't you supposed to be at Martinez's house?" She ask handing me the room key.

"Well, I was kicked out because of Tom's dumb self." I answer in full bitterness.

"Well, I hope things will clear up for the both of you soon. Is that girl still living with you?" She ask.

"Sage, but yes she is. We aren't on good terms. But she lives with Martinez." I answer. She nodded. I grab the room key from her hands.

As I started to walk, my phone vibrated. I pulled it out, reading the message quickly. In two weeks or three. I want to meet my daughter.
