Thirty minutes had passed since the outbreak of Francisco happened. The penthouse was silent. The only thing that kept ringing in my head was glass shattering from the coffee table.

For thirty minutes straight, I was just sitting against the door, but I didn't hear Francisco attempt to come up the steps or call out my name. Nothing but silence responded to me.

Finally deciding that I needed some rest for tomorrow and to get some sleep. I pushed myself off the floor, making my towards the bathroom.

As my feet touched against the cold floor. I turned on the light, revealing my faded and smeared makeup in my eye region. I grabbed my bottle of makeup remover.

Opening the lid and poured a small amount of it onto my q-tip. Gradually removing the makeup from my face. Revealing my natural self.

Turning my back towards the mirror, I grabbed the zipper and started unzipping my dress. Till it was to the point where I could pull it off. After I was finished taking my dress off. I walked over to my closet, throwing on an old tee shirt and some sport shorts.

I hear my phone start ringing as I pulled down my shirt. I made my way towards it. It was vibrating loudly against the table besides my bed. I picked it up. To find it was Halle who was calling me. I was extremely happy for that. I needed to tell her what was going on. It's been too long since I had an actual talk with another girl about my problems.

Besides Kimberly, of course. I slide my thumb across the screen, bringing my phone to my ears.

"Hello?" Halle began.

"Hey, what's up?" I reply sitting down on my bed.

"Just wanted to talk, since I didn't entirely get to talk to you about everything. Since it seemed like we only had about a couple of minutes." Halle excitedly said through the phone.

"Yeah, but before we do so. Can we talk about something?" I questions.

"Of course we can. What's up?" Halle said.

"I don't know how I am feeling." I started.

"About?" Halle questions confusedly.

"Francisco. Him and I just never seem to get along with each other or never seem to enjoy each other's presence without having the need to argue over something stupid." I answer.

"What did you two get into an argument about this time?" Halle sighs. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"He's upset because the day after Christmas, I have to go back to California and get my education. Stupid right?" I said, hoping she would side with me.

"Actually, I am going to have to side with Francisco on this one for once. Now before you hang up. You have to hear me out. After staying in a house with him for four months and you not being there. I have learned a lot of things about him." Halle replies.

"Carry on." I said staring at the lamp besides my bed.

"Francisco doesn't want you to leave, because after all of the months before you two met. He was broken, alone, depressed, all that jibber jabber. Besides the point. He doesn't want to be alone again. It's not because he doesn't want you to not get your education, it's because he doesn't want to be hurt and alone again." Halle explains.
