Sage

"With?" I question Marco.

"Just come down and find out." Marco said calmly, I knew if I rejected he would punish me or at least Nikolay would.

Without an response, I got up from the chair, following Marco out the door. I slowly pulled the door closed behind me. We hurried down the wooden steps as our shoes clicked across the floor.

I see the door wide open, screams was the first thing I hear coming from the room. My heart nearly jumped. I stood there without even knowing. Marco turned around.

"Let's go." Marco says raising his voice.

Ignoring the rest of my thoughts, I followed behind Marco. Through the door we went. I see Nikolay standing with a golf club in his hand. Where there was two Italian members on their knees.

"I am so glad you are here Sage!" Nikolay cheers, but expressively when he swings the golf club in his left hand.

"Why do you need me down here?" I ask. Nikolay chuckles. But returns to his straight face.

"I know it's been four months. But now we got the right resources and guns. So you will tell us where Martinez's estate is. Or else I will kill both of them. And you will watch." Nikolay answers.

"Why are you doing this?" I question, I didn't the recognize the two guys, but Martinez had to know them.

"We go far back Sage. So what's the deal? Where's Martinez's estate is at?" Nikolay ask. He throws golf club to Alessandro.

"I don't know, it's somewhere in the city." I lied. Nikolay smiles, he either possibly bought it or he could tell I was lying.

"That's funny, because were we picked you up it was not in the city." Nikolay replies. I bit my lower lip.

"Alessandro, do as you're pleased." Nikolay commanded.

"No what!" I yelled, noticing Alessandro stopped in mid position. "They living South side. I am not completely one hundred percent sure what their location is, but I know it's South."

"It's still not pacific to where they are." Nikolay says. Alessandro, knocks down the first guys on the left. He starts to beat him with a golf club.

I shut my eyes hearing the whimpers of the men. I couldn't do anything. Because I knew if I tried to take a hit, Alessandro would stop. Things would just not end well.

"Wait Alessandro please!" The man screams as my eyelids pressed more against each other, sending shivers down my spine.

Francisco

Dakota pushes in the large whiteboard from the storage closet, he sets it in front of the meeting table for the rest of to see. Martinez carries three white board markers in his hand. Setting them on the ledge of the whiteboard.

Dakota returns back to his seat. As he sits down besides me. Jo and Tom enter into the room, Lee following behind them. Rafael and Liam had already been seated in the room.

"Tonight, I plan on having two of you go to their estate. But whoever goes needs to be very careful. Because we don't know if Nikolay, Alessandro, or the other Russians are located there. But you be investigating. If it's not the right one. You pull out the big guns. If it is, you return back here. Immediately." Martinez explains.

"I think I vote Francisco and you go." Rafael suggested. In my head, I smiled at the idea. Since Martinez and I were the perfect duo.

"Actually, Jo and Francisco would be quite interesting if they went together." Dakota added his opinion.

"That's true, good suggestion. Agree Jo and Francisco?" Martinez ask popping off the lid of the marker.

"I agree." Jo answers.

"I disagree." I reply.

"Francisco, just this once. Do it for Sage." Lee intrudes. I rolled my eyes, wanting to flip over this table, but I just sat there staying humble.

"Fine." I coldly said.

Martinez smiles writing down on the board, my name and Jo's. He puts the lid back on. He reaches over for the photos sitting on the desk.

"The Chicago estate emailed me these pictures of what the interior looks like. It it quite large inside, which makes me think that Nikolay and the others are settled inside of this estate." Martinez explains grabbing the magnets at the corner of the whiteboard.

***

"There is a vent up there." Jo says looking towards the vent window. Which was plenty of feet above us.

"Wow, good job scouting, now we need something to get up there." I reply walking around the building to search. My luck, there was ladder nicely seated against the brick wall.

I walked over and pulled it. It was quite heavy, I turn to see Jo still looking at the vent window.

"Hey! I need your help." I called.

"What do you need?" Jo calls back.

"To carry this damn ladder." I reply.

Jo looks away from the air vent, he runs over and helps. We grabbed both sides of the ladder. Pulling it towards the side where the air vent was.

"Thanks." I said placing it down.

"You're welcome." Jo bluntly replies.

I walk over to the trunk of the car. Grabbing the small brief case. Which was full of tools. Made my way back towards the ladder and Jo. I set it down. Onto the ground, opening it, grabbing the screwdriver.

"Just hold the ladder as I go up." I commanded.

"Yes Dad." Jo replies.

Going to the back of ladder as he held onto the sides. I finally reached the stop with this thing tipping over or attempting to fall over.

Putting the screwdriver against the vent window screws. I quickly undid the four, possibly because it was so loose and haven't been unscrewed in a while. Pulling the loose vent out. I dropped it to the ground.

"Be more quiet would you?" Jo says.

I climbed into the vent, after I made in to the metal walls of the vent. Jo joined me. Hoping this vent would be able to take the capacity of two people.

"Let's split, so if one of them spot us. At least one of us can ask." Jo whispers.

"Good idea, and keep your walkie talkie on you at all times." I reply. Jo nods pulling out his head. As we separated off in our own direction.
