"Jackie told me to remind you that even though it isn't officially fall yet, from next week on your guys' special coffee dealer will have your beloved pumpkin spice latte. I was ordered to bring you one every time I come to visit. Apparently Jackie thinks the smell of it might wake you up. You know how much I hate everything pumpkin, but I'm desperate enough to give it a try.

"It won't be long now until the leaves start to change, so you better hurry and wake up. Fall is your favorite season of the year, you don't want to miss it. What fun would it be if we sat in your hospital room together, instead of you dragging me around town to all sorts of fall markets and activities. I wonder how you always know about all of them. I mean, you can't possibly enjoy them all, right? Maybe you do it just to annoy me. You like to annoy me. I even miss that.

"Well, I guess it's not too late to do the fall stuff with you. I promise I won't ever complain again if you just wake up."
