"So, freaking Troy Smith came to me today, asking if I had any idea when you'd wake up and be back to normal again. Apparently he wanted to ask you to be his date for the Homecoming Dance, and if you won't wake up soon, he'll have to find someone else. I swear there are a lot of idiots out there. He can be glad that I had my hands full at that moment, or he might have gotten more than just a few choice words from me.
"How can people be so stupid and insensitive? They're acting like you have a cold or something like that, almost like it's your fault you're still in that coma. We all know I'm not happy about your condition either, but I'm sure you're trying your best. You're a fighter. I'm sure you are trying your best to wake up. Don't ever give up. I'm definitely not giving up hope. You are going to wake up again."
