"My parents want me to see the school psychologist on a regular basis, so I'm gonna start doing that during my free period tomorrow. I liked her well enough, when I saw her that one time a few weeks ago. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and maybe it's a good idea to talk to someone who isn't caught in the middle of this. She doesn't know you or me, so it's easier for her to stay objective about all of it. Everyone else in my life always talks about you like you're gone and we don't exist anymore.
"People always say that it can help to talk to a stranger, to someone who isn't involved, right? I know for sure that it would be nice to get a break from all the sad glances everyone is always sending my way. I mean I get it, they are all worried about what happened to you, and they feel bad for me. What good does it do though to make me feel even crappier about everything by constantly giving me those heartbroken looks. Maybe I can actually take a breather, if I'm not constantly reminded by this stupid situation."
