If I counted yesterday as the first day of the week that I had left to make a decision --which I am-- Today is number six. I felt like the bachelorette, but JoJo was a slut, and I was not. Hell, I might even host this as a final rose ceremony. Only, instead of them approaching me one at a time, they are both in front of me and I hand out the final rose.
I slowly opened my eyes. Alex wasn't in bed. I got up and wandered into the den to see if he was watching TV, it was off. As I turned around to go to the kitchen, I saw a familiar jeep in the driveway.
I went opened the door and saw Cam sitting in the driver's seat, and beside him was Alex. He was about to back out of the driveway when I shouted to them. "Hey! What's going on?"
Cameron swore and Alex ran his hands through his hair. They both hopped out of the car and stalked up to the front door. I let them in and shut it behind them. It hadn't even occurred to me that I was still in my underwear. I put them in the den and ran to get on my pajama bottoms, I didn't care if Cam saw me in my sports bra, but I was not comfortable with him seeing my ass.
I dressed quickly and sped back out into the living room. Cam was shaking his head at something Alex said. "What were you doing, and why did you look upset when I found you?"
"I-uh, had to go to the store."
"And why couldn't I take you?"
"It was, masculine care products."
"Really? Don't lie to me, Alex."
"Fine, I was going to go to my house."
"No."
"I have to Cyd."
"No."
"Why not?"
"I don't trust your father, I don't want you to get hurt again."
"I'll be fine." I crossed my arms and stared him down. Cameron looked uncomfortable observing this, but I was about to go off on him. Alex put his hands up in surrender and leaned back on the couch.
"And you, Mr. Cameron DePointe, why on God's green Earth did you go along with this?"
"His mom misses him, she came over to my house."
"She can come here."
"Cydney, he needs to get his things if nothing else."
"Fine, but I'm going." Alex sighed and put his head in his hands. I think Cameron knew that there was no point in arguing because he shrugged and looked to Alexander for help. My ex (?) got up and walked over to me. "I don't think it's safe."
"Bullshit."
"No, we think he's at work, but we don't know, and we don't know if he is or not for sure."
"You wanted to know how to get ahead? Be alive for me. And you can't do that if he's there."
"What are you going to do Cydney? No offense, but you can barely handle the sight of blood." I grabbed his arm and flipped it behind his back, then proceeded to jab my knee into his back. He fell to his knees almost instantly and grunted. "Uncle, uncle, uncle!"
I let him go and brushed my hands on my pants. Cam was in shock and held his hands in surrender. Alex got up and looked at me. "Why haven't you done that before?"
I knew instantly what he was talking about, "I was drunk, and then under Him. I have to be standing and aware."
He lowered his head and nodded. "She can come."

We pulled up to his house. Adam wasn't home, but Cameron decided to stay in the car while we went inside and grabbed Alex's stuff. I ran upstairs after Alex opened the door and entered his room. It seemed untouched since the last time I had been here. I opened his closet and grabbed a duffel bag from the corner. I didn't even think, just started stuffing it with clothes and hangers. He joined me in his room and grabbed a suitcase. Turning to his drawers, he was grabbing piles of clothes and placing them in the bag.
After mine was full to the brim, I zipped it up and did the same thing with another bag, but this time in the bathroom. I grabbed all of his toiletries and filled the bag, with some room left, I started grabbing books and other things that he didn't necessarily need but would be nice to have. We finished loading the three bags and ran downstairs, I only let him carry one while I grabbed the knickknacks and rollable suitcase.
We threw it into the back of the jeep, I jumped on the tire wheel and into the back while Alex slid into the passenger seat. Cam peeled out of the driveway and sped down the road.
My short hair whipped around my face as he drove, trying to get out of the neighborhood as soon as possible.
In minutes, we pulled up to my house, with the rush being over, each of us grabbed a bag and made it inside. While Alex put his things in my room, I heated up some of the leftovers. Cameron had to leave to go pick Chyna up for a date, but I did say both him and her could come over later if they wanted.
He finished doing what he had to do and came back out into the kitchen. I had just finished heating up the soup and was putting it on the table when he wrapped his arms around me. "You know, when you pinned me down, it was kinda hot."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. So what do you say we put the soups in the oven to warm up and go have some fun."
I laughed and reached behind my head to put my hand on his neck. He kissed the palm and backed me up from the table a few steps. I turned around and placed my lips on his. He eagerly accepted the invitation and moved warm hands up the back of my shirt. I felt his breaths grow shorter as he grew more excited. I calmly kept my hand on his cheek and the other on the back of his neck.
After a few minutes. I pulled away. I look of sexual hunger was in his eyes, and I loved it. He toyed with me yesterday, now it was his turn. I sat down at the table and began slurping my soup rather loudly. Luckily, it was still warm, as was my back from his hands. He stood there, slightly dazed at what happened, before sitting on the other end of the table and placing his head on his hand. I started to giggle as he just twirled his spoon in his bowl with a pout on his face.
This guilt trip was not going to work, no matter how much he milked it. If I chose him, he knew he would get what he wanted, mostly because that's what I wanted too. God, I really felt like the bachelorette. All I needed was to be on a beach in a far flung location and we'd have another season of the show. Maybe it wasn't too late to contact Chris Harris.
