Sometimes life can be quite... cliche. I'm not saying that's a bad thing; I think of it as simply a part of life in this modernized world. I believe there to be beauty in the cliches. After all, there are reasons we still watch The Notebook and Twilight, because something about that familiarity and that overall idea of a common happy ending is still hopeful to a lot of us.
I think you'll find a lot of this story to be cliche, and I think that's the point. There are just so many cliches in the world that I wanted to figure out just how many of them you could use and still write a coherent story.
At least, that was the idea when I first wrote this story in eighth grade. Coming back to it after I've graduated high school... it's a weird feeling. I've noticed just how many plot holes and grammatical errors there are, and I hope to fix them. So here's hoping I can improve.
