Adrienne, First Day of Senior Year

I handed both Cj and jay back their schedules. "At least we all have lunch together"

"We have 2 classes together too so it's not that bad"

"Yeah us too"

I pouted anyway. "Both my classes with you are in the morning and not even back to back" I waved my schedule at Ceej then turned to jay. "And we have one in the morning and one in the afternoon like they did this on purpose"

"They don't want us to have classes together"

"They know we not gonna learn if I'm distracted by you two"

Me and Ceej both hit each arm.

"The nerve of you I'll have you know that I pay attention in class"

"Last year we had class together and we got in trouble all the time for talking off topic"

"But we passed and that's all that matters"

"Mhm"

The first bell rang and we all said our laters before going our separate ways. My first class of the day was unfortunately government. Once I got to the class I made sure to sit on the side and in the middle.

The rest of the class filled in very slowly while the teacher, Mr. Broadie, sat at his desk on his laptop which was hooked up to the projector.

We didn't do any real work in class only talked about what the rest of the semester would be like then it was off to the next class. For me this meant English which I had with Ceej.

When I walked in Cj was already waiting. I went and took the seat to her left towards the back of the class.

"How was your first class?"

"We talked mostly so it was okay, yours?"

"I don't know I was falling asleep but i hope I didn't miss anything important"

I shook my head. "Better hope not"

This class went by unfortunately slower than the last one simply because Ms.Farbers voice was so dull that it felt like she talking for ages.

"Film as literature a class where we watch movies in place of the regular curriculum. We'll watch movies but complete either a project or test at the end of each one along with a packet of questions for each movie so there's still learning involved."

Jay, who was seated behind me, tapped on my shoulder. "Easy grade?"

I nodded without turning around. "Seems like it"

"Then we're definitely passing this"

After a pretty uneventful day finally I was blessed with food. Well at least my classes were uneventful lunch on the other hand was pretty awkward seeing as Jessie sat with us. I really wouldn't have minded if I wasn't a fifth wheel but since I was i didn't particularly have fun. I mean yes I was asked questions and stuff but still.
