Four months after not seeing Adrienne since we had the talk about what happens next and I couldn't wait till we possibly see each other on thanksgiving or Christmas so I decided to use some vacation days and go visit her for a week therefore we can spend the Fourth of July together.

I closed the trunk and brought my bag to the curb where my suitcase sat, "Hey Siri, Call heart"

"Calling Red Heart"

"Hey are you here yet?"

I️ started walking towards her building, "I feel like you already know the answer"

She laughed, "I️ know everything remember?" There was a ding sound then foot steps.

"That's you sounding like the hulk walking?"

"Fight me Jay"

"If it's not just fighting then alright"

"Bye" she hung up but I just laughed.

I️ got to the front door just as it opened and Adrienne stood there in some shorts and one of those bra looking tops.

"Hey handsome long time no see"

Pregnant. She's about to be pregnant.

"Is that your car in front?" I guess she didn't notice me not paying attention because she answered herself anyway. "You can't park there, I️ left my door open just go up and I'll move your car for you"

I️ snapped back into reality "Huh? Oh I️ could do it"

"I️ live here so I'll take it to the parking" at that she grabbed the keys out my hand and walked away.

I️ was gonna wait for her in the lobby like a gentleman but she said she cooked so I️ had to go eat. I️ left the bags by the door as I served myself a mountain of baked macaroni, yams, ribs and veggies.

"I️ should've known you'd be piling a plate or stuff in your face already"

"In my defense I waited in the lobby for a few before I️ remembered that you cooked so I'm not a total asshole"

"But an asshole nonetheless"

"I won't disagree because I'm hungry and we're already wasting time" I went to the table and started scarfing down my food.

"And Aaliyah's still not with someone?"

"So she has this new boy or whatever now and she's been getting on my nerrrrveessss gushing about him"

"Don't you do the same to Chasity?"

"I️ try not to because her and Keem have only been broken up for like a month and I️ don't want to sound like I'm bragging"

Right I forgot they broke up. I'm still shocked actually "She and Keem still don't speak?"

"Last I heard she had him blocked on everything and does everything to avoid him on campus"
