One thing I hate the most about the summer heat is trying to cook when basically everything goes in the oven. I have the air conditioner on high just to keep myself from melting and it's barely doing that. I glanced over at the time before realizing jay should be arriving now. My phone rang from the counter and I set the tray on the stove before reaching over to answer. I turned everything off and grabbed my keys before walking out into the hallway then down the stairs to the lobby.

"Hey are you here yet?"

"I feel like you already know the answer"

I️ laughed, "Iknow everything remember?" I hit the lobby and waved hi to the neighbors about to get on the elevator.

"That's you sounding like the hulk walking?"

"Fight me Jay"

"If it's not just fighting then alright"

"Bye" I hung up and went to open the door just as he got there.

"Hey handsome long time no see" I smirked as he stared at my body instead of my face.

He licked his lips and my heart was sent into overdrive, "Is that your car in front?" Of course he didn't answer so I said "You can't park there, I left my door open just go up and I'll move your car for you"

"Huh? Oh I could do it" there we go some words.

"I live here so I'll take it to the parking" I grabbed the keys out his hand and walked to the car anyway. Once I was safely in the drivers seat I let out a deep breath. I definitely won't be getting used to him looking at me like dinner which is saying a lot since that's his favorite meal of the day.

Once I️ parked his car I️ went straight up to the apartment. He didn't even get his bags past right in front of the door not that I expected him to. I moved them to my room before walking into the kitchen.

"Should've known you'd be piling a plate or stuff in your face already"

"In my defense I waited in the lobby for a few before I remembered that you cooked so I'm not a total asshole"

"But an asshole nonetheless"

"I️ won't disagree because I'm hungry and we're already wasting time" he took his plate and left.

I shook my head before starting to serve myself.

"So she has this new boy or whatever now and she's been getting on my nerrrrveessss gushing about him"

"Don't you do the same to Chasity?"

"Itry not to because her and Keem have only been broken up for like a month and I don't want to sound like I'm bragging"

"She and Keem still don't speak?"

I️ shook my head, "last I heard she had him blocked on everything and does everything to avoid him on campus"

He fixed my legs over his lap, "You think they've officially broken up this time?"

"I don't know... I mean this is the first time they've really broken up since they've been together and that was in high school so it's anyone's guess right now"

"They can't be our relationship gurus and be separated, they only work when they're together"

"Hey they work good alone but I agree they're definitely better together"

"Have you asked her if she would work it out with him?"

"Ha! For her to blow up on me too? Nah I️ don't think so"

"Too? Who she blew up on?"

"Her mom and Aaliyah a little but that was when the break up was still fresh so I don't know when it'll be safe. Have you asked Keem?"

"Yeah kind of but he gave me one of those man I don't wanna talk about that shit right now"

"Oh he's on that edge, so we got one angry and the other unknown because Chas was only open with her feelings to him"

"They better working it out because I want a baby out them"

"You're so selfish"

"Do you want to have my baby then? I mean I'll prefer it but I was being considerate of your body and space so I offered up Chas's instead"

"Well if you put it that way then yeah they should have the baby. I want to keep my body baby free for at least two or so more years"

"Really only two?"

"Well I'm already 21 so I️ wanna wait until I'm out of school which is next year so that twenty two then I wanna be working which I plan to be by that following year so that puts me at twenty three"

"You wanna get pregnant when you just started working?"

"No but that's the youngest age I want to get pregnant"

"Alright so I gotta make sure I got that great job for the three of us then since you'll be on leave for a minute"

I couldn't help but smile, "oh for the three of us huh? You sound real confident that you're the father"

"I'm not? So we're gonna adopt then? I'm cool with that too but I still want one with my DNA"

"You swear we're having a baby together"

"Well you're gonna cheat on me to have one with someone else? I don't think so"

I shook my head at his stupid self, "So since you know the future what's gonna happen after we graduate?"

"We move back to the city together and we're both gonna be working piling in the moolah"

"Oh we're gonna be piling it in?"

"I mean it's gonna go straight to bills and rent an shit because you know the city expensive but before then yeah"

I️ nodded in agreement, "Especially if you move to any good parts"

"Plus we have two cars"

"We're already broke and we haven't even graduated yet"

"I believe it"

I sat an listened to more of his future predictions ands stories until it got late then he had to basically drag me to bed because I was falling asleep on the couch. He laid me in the bed before doing something in the dark and climbing in next to me.

"We're getting a king size bed" he whispered in my ear.

"Mhm" I turned to my side before backing up against his chest to fall right to sleep again.
