Greatest Friday of the school year so far.
Here's the scoop!

My AP World History teacher is low-key the Teacher Bae of the Year. She makes the college course super chill and lit. Today, we started class with a little political geometry. There was a triangle, a square, and a circle on the board, and she asked us to sign our initials in the shape which we think represents democracy. I chose the square, and when she asked for my reasoning, I said,

"Well, you see, some foreigners believe in the equality of America--which, of course, is totally a lie. You can see this being represented by the square on the board. There are no equal sides. To me, it looks more like an overused napkin than a square. I'm sure the napkin belongs to Obama. 'Alright America, time to save the planet and reduce pollution by saving your napkins!' And then he uses said overused napkin to clean up. Of course, nothing is cleaned up at all."

Then the teacher (let's call her Mrs. Bae), says, "I don't want to tell her she's wrong, because her explanation was so good."

Then, later in class (still talking about the political shapes), we somehow shift the topic to what kind of reality TV show Mrs. Bae wants to air. It involves human piñatas, children abusing children, harmful weapons, children in the piñata suits running from children brandishing said harmful weapons, and Steve Harvey as the co-host. Yep, we wasted a lot of time on that one.

Later in the evening, I went to this annual weekend fair that my town holds at the end of the first week of school (elementary school; my school started two weeks ago)--which is a cool way to kick off the school year. Though, in previous years, it was more lit. There were more rides for all ages, but this year was mostly kiddy rides.

I made two mistakes while attending this year's fair:

1) I purchased tickets instead of the orange band thingy that allows you to go on rides without tickets; so yeah, the ticket thing is a scam.

2) I didn't bring all my $20 bills that I earned from my graduation; this was the perfect opportunity to use them! Now they're just rotting away in my closet (don't judge me).

Meh, the fair was kind of boring. I started with the squad, and we went on the swinging boat ride (it goes higher than the one at Six Flags); I went twice in a row with different people. Then, we all got separated--a good thing, since I spent some time with a girl from my AP History class. +1 friend! We went on the DaVinci Swing, then wandered around until I used up the last of my tickets to go on the swinging boat ride one last time.

Lit times fam

Anyway, I think this chapter is long enough, so I'll continue about friend progress in the next chapter.
