*CHAPTER XXVI*
Right after the performance, we went straight to the backstage to get ready to return home.
Someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." Soren said. Only the two of us were there. The three were helping the crew with the instruments. Soren came with me here, taking dinner. Vegetable salad with a yummy dressing.
"Hello!" She smiled. It was Oprah.
"Oh hello. Thanks a lot for inviting us to your show." I smiled at her.
"My pleasure. I always wanted to get you to my show."
"That's great. We also wanted to meet our favorite talk show host. I always tune in to your show since I was young."
"Well," she sits beside me. "I hope you don't mind me asking you this, but rumor has it, is it true you accelerated junior and senior high and went straight to college?"
"Yes, we confirm it is true. Ever since I started school, I got straight A+ on all of my grades, mostly got a perfect score on all of my exams. I heard it was the same way as Soren."
"Wow. What did you do to have such intelligence? I know someone who has the same situation as yours. She skipped 6th grade and become 7th grade."
Soren replied, "Actually this is something we won't ever say in public. But since this is a private talk, I believe, we are Indigo kids. Ever heard of that?"
"Yeah. What's your IQ?"
"Lizzy and I took the IQ test last week as a random thought and we scored 164."
"164? Wow! You sure is as smart as Einstein. Wow. Good for you."
"It isn't. In a way." I sighed.
"But why?" She curiously asked.
"Some people judge us as 'weirdos' because in our age, 19, they say we think the way a 30-year old does. Some even thought we did nothing in life but to read books which is not true. We are even jealous of those kids who graduates high school at 18 and just enjoy the life we never had. We are just thankful Kare and the rest of the band is there to understand us."
Soren added, "All we ever wish for our child is for her to have a normal life, not a life of an Indigo kid. Without the three guys, maybe we would just go crazy and just end up our lives."
"I'm sorry to hear that. And I promise I won't ever tell anyone anything about this."
"Thank you."
"What was your biggest inspiration in, you know, in striving to work as a medical surgeon? You are already one of the most iconic bands ever."
"We can't assure we would be this popular forever. Maybe tomorrow, we won't be popular anymore."
"Nice answer. You really are good examples. You might felt touched when you realized to know you changed lives."
"We didn't honestly expect this would happen." I smiled at her."
"Anyway, Soren, there's one thing I always wonder, are you a royal baby?"
"I wish I was." He laughed. "But I was always wondering about it too. My wife helps me figure it out. We are digging down my records about it. My birth records does say I was also born in London to parents Steven and Sandy..."
"Sandy?" She asked.
"Yes, Sandy. They say I was given away by them. Do you know them?"
"Sandara Monica?"
"That's right."
"You can't be serious." She stood up.
Jascha opened the door, "Hey, you two, having plans to go home yet?"
"Alright, alright, we are coming." I took my last bite of the salad.
"So you are the missing... Oh God." She felt amazed.
"It's nice to meet you, Oprah." I shook hands with her. "Till next time!"
We went out of the room quicky, trying to catch up with the three.
"He is the one! He is the one! With the girl!" She told her assistant.
"What do you mean, Madame?"
"You won't believe this. Ironic as it sounds, but Soren and Liz are the ones!"
"What happened with them?"
"Soren was the missing royal baby! Which means, when he turns 20, he will officially take over the position of being a king. And Lizzy is the future queen!"
"Do they know about it?"
"I notice they don't. But I heard they are in search for the royal baby already before the Queen passes away."
