SO THE FUNNIEST THING JUST HAPPENED
I MUST SHARE
I was playing NHL 15 with my dad, Canucks on Penguins. Spoiler Alert: I lost.
Anyway, there were a few notable events that night. I shall list them.
#1: I thought a guy named Maata was Matata. As is Hakuna Matata.
#2: I thought Sidney Crosby was Sidney Chubby. His name flashed on screen really quickly and I, being completely illiterate, saw Chubby.
#3: I shot on my own goal just to see if I could do it, and the Penguins gained a point.
#4: This is the best thing that has happened all night. Okay, so, early into the game's first period, there was a rush for the puck. I was playing Bieksa and dad was on Malkin. Dad got to the puck before I did, and a as a result I full on barrelled into him. Malkin straight-up went flying. He did what could be either a spin jump or a backflip, and took off into the air. He landed on his back, and was promptly skated into by another player. It was hilarious. Slapstick at its finest. This will go down in history as The Beautiful Malkin Hit of 2016.
