It Begins

I think one of Cecilia-blaze and I's creations has escaped into the real world.

Okay, so it started this morning. On top of my mom breaking her leg, her car was broken into a while ago. The back window was smashed. Nothing stolen though. Anyway, she can't drive with the window smashed in and needs it repaired. (She can still drive.) I had to wait for the bus this morning. Because I live close to the school, I decided to walk instead. It was a pretty morning.

That was swiftly ruined.

There's a little stretch of sidewalk down to the crossing to fill out the street. We are the last house there, but not the last building. That bit of road is taken up by a little abandoned garage. All winter, nobody shovelled that part of the street. Who would want to? Now that the April melt is setting in, you can sort of kick away the snow. Who wouldn't want to? It's fun! Anyway, that's what I did as I shuffled down the street.

Now, I wasn't counting on seeing anything under there. I didn't think there was. That's why I was surprised when I saw this:

Goddamnit Jeff! First my toilet paper, now my street too? You really are a douche-ghost!

Anyway, once I saw that I knew I had to get a picture. I didn't have time to stop, though; otherwise I'd be late. My bus stops a bit up the street, so I snapped this on the way back. The lighting's better as well. I don't know if I've never noticed this before, but it's especially relevant now.
