"Well, I think you're doing fine." Dr Anderson smiled. "You're all set for Vegas?"

I grinned and nodded. "Yep."

He handed Rhett a piece of paper. "If you run into trouble, ask for this doctor. He's my colleague, he'll be able to help you out almost as well I would be able to."

Rhett nodded and placed the paper in his wallet. "Of course."

Dr Anderson typed some things up. "Alright, well, you're free to go get changed Cooper. I'll see you next week."

I smiled and skipped off to the bathroom.

When I emerged, Rhett was waiting with a smile on his face. "Want to go and get some last minute supplies for the trip?"

I shrugged. "Sure."

We went to the shop and walked around for a while. Rhett got me a duffle bag to take my clothes in (Much despite my protests not to spend money on me) and we bought a whole bunch of candy to eat on the flight. We bought some neck pillows for Locke and the other kids, and then finally headed home.

"Excited for the trip Coop?" Rhett asked.

I nodded. "I don't think I've ever been more excited for anything in my life."

"Have you told Reuben you're going away?"

I nodded. "Yep."

"Okay, good. Told him everything yet?"

I nervously shook my head.

Rhett sighed. "Super-Cooper, you're going to have to let him know eventually."

"I know." I mumbled. "I just don't want him to look at me differently. I'll tell him when I need to."

"The longer you leave it, the harder it's going to get." Rhett advised.

I sighed. "Yeah, got it. I'm going to pack."

I wandered into my room and began pulling out all my clothes and laying them on my bed. I was so excited. We were leaving tonight for the best trip of my life, and my favourite people in the world were coming with me. It was going to be the absolute best.

Shepherd walked in after a while and sat down on my desk chair. "I'm gonna miss you Cooper."

I smiled sadly at him. "I'm going to miss you too bud."

"How long are you gonna be gone?" He asked, swinging his legs in the air.

"Just a little while. 3 days."

He frowned. "3 days is a reaaaaaaaaally long time!"

"It's not that long?"

"It's super long!"
"Sorry Sheppie." I sighed. "Don't worry, it'll go quicker than you think."

He beamed. "Okay. Can we have ice cream now?"

I checked the time. "It's dinner soon bud. Just wait a little bit."

He frowned again. "I'm gonna go ask Mommy."

"Alright bud. You do that."

He left and I zipped up my bags. Rhett knocked on my door. "Dinner Coop."

I smiled and nodded. "Coming!"
Dinner was mostly talk between me, Locke and Rhett about how awesome the concert was going to be, and all the other cool things we'd do in Vegas while we were there. Shepherd was quite jealous, and even tried bargaining with Locke for his ticket. Locke declined, but promised Shep we'd get him a shirt or something from the concert.

When dinner was over, we headed out to the car and picked Link, Lily and Lincoln up on the way. We all chattered excitedly. After all, ever since Locke and I had become good friends, the other two had really warmed up to me. It was awesome, finally being accepted by everyone. At times, it was almost like I was an actual part of their family.

"Ever been on a plane before?" Locke asked as we approached the airport.

I shook my head. "I've never even been out of California."

Lincoln looked at me funny.

"I dunno, anyway, I'm really excited for this!"

"It's not a long flight. Just over an hour." Rhett explained as we checked our bags in. "We'll be there in no time."

We got some donuts at the airport while waiting for our flight to board, and then we passed through the gate. Rhett let me have the window seat, and I looked over the runway. "This is pretty cool."

Rhett nodded and smiled. "Just wait until we get up into the air."

We went through the safety demonstration, and then the plane started moving.

"Oh my god, OH MY GOD WE'RE FLYING!"

Rhett giggled. "Yeah, we are."

I pressed my face up against the window. "This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life!"

"Shh!" Link said, putting his headphones on.

I giggled. "Sorry."

We ate candy and played games until we touched down in Vegas. I collected my luggage and Link hailed us a taxi.

"Welcome to Vegas, Super-Cooper."

I giggled. "This is awesome. Thank you for this."

Rhett ruffled my hair. "No problem. We're glad you're liking it."

We checked in at the hotel, and went up to the rooms. Us kids were all sharing, and thankfully we all got our own beds. The view from the window was spectacular. "Woah."

Locke walked up beside me and smiled. "Pretty, isn't it?"

I nodded. "It's beautiful."

"THE MINI BAR IS FREE! THERE'S FREE SODA AND CHOCOLATE!" Lincoln called, going through the mini bar.

I chuckled and walked over. "I can already tell this trip is going to be great."

Lincoln nodded and threw me a can and a chocolate bar.

Rhett and Link walked in and we all sat around the table, deciding what we were going to do. I honestly didn't care, I was too excited about the concert. Anything else, I was fine with.

I just hoped that nothing went wrong.
