The couple gazed upon the fruit and saw that the fruit did appear to be good enough to eat. It was slightly tan and crimson and it was perfectly round with a small bit of fuzz on it and seemed harmless enough. So they each picked one to examine it.
"Look!" Luciferous said "It didn't kill you to touch it. How does it feel to you?" He said with a sinister grin for a dragon. That the couple didn't recognize as sinister, because they didn't know what a sinister gaze even appeared like.
"It feels soft and fuzzy." Said the woman and the man agreed. "This feels completely harmless. In fact it feels sort of like a kitten with the fuzz all over it."
"Exactly. Now smell it." Luciferous taunted. "Truly it smells wondrous and delightful."
The man and the woman smelled the fruit and found that the fruit smell sweet as honey and was pleasing to their senses. It smells delicious and makes my mouth salivate in anticipation of eating it. Surely this is one of the most divine foods of the Creator and that is why we shouldn't be messing around with it. This food belongs to Him alone and we are playing with fire.
They felt the skin of the fruit and noticed that it hadn't hurt them yet. It felt so soft and delightful to the touch. The man smelled the fruit and it didn't reach out and ensnare him into any form of a trap, but smelled sweeter than honey and made his mouth water just thinking about eating it.
"See now you've even smelled the fruit and nothing bad has happened to you. Why don't you take a bite? I assure you that once you've taken a bite you will know everything The Creator knows and you will be filled with unending joy and happiness. I haven't steered you wrong yet have I?"
"Well it does feel good." The man started. "And it is pleasing to the eyes as well as to the smell. I suppose one bite won't hurt." With that the man and the woman each took a bite of the juicy fruit. The juices from the fruit dribbled down their chin and tasted like the heavens.
Both the man and the woman took a bite and the juiciness of the peach-like fruit was so delightful that they couldn't believe it. It was truly quite delicious. The dragon howled with laughter and flew away laughing the entire time he was in flight. He had betrayed the couple and now the Creator would send His vicious wrath upon all the men and women upon Theara and kill them all for their disobedience.
Then The Creator came by the tree. "What have you been doing my children?" He asked in a calm voice.
"We ate of the tree you told us not to." The man said innocently. He felt extremely guilty for disobeying but he told the Creator of what the red dragon had told them. They could be just like the Creator and know everything of good and evil, but now that he knew everything he didn't feel pleasant at all, in fact he felt miserable.
"The red dragon told us we could and we would know everything You know." The woman replied. She buried her face in her hands and wept for the innocents that she had lost because of the ruby dragon's trickery.
"My poor naïve children." The Creator started in a loving tone towards his deceived children. "I told you not to eat so that you wouldn't know the things I know. There are terrible things out there now that have been unveiled before your eyes, things that I have kept all men and women safe from and now you have exposed them all to the dangers of the world"
"Can't you take it back? The man asked pleadingly trying to set things right. "If you have to slay me so that the sins of my life haven't ruined everything for everyone else."
"I will not undo what you have done because you disobeyed me." The Creator said in a sad tone. "Now all men and woman will suffer from the acts that the two of you have done. The sins of the world hang on you now. You let the sins of the world in because of this red dragon."
