Happy Halloween everyone :))))
I have to write a recommendation letter for myself for my AVID class and I have no idea what to write so I'm writing in this instead.
I don't know what month it is logically in this story but I'm going to say it's the end of the last week of march
This is short but I still have homework and it's like 10:40 something
43. Rowan
"Baby! Baby! Baby!" Austin runs into the kitchen, screaming like a small child, a smile on his face.
"Austin! Austin! Austin!" I mock, and he slides across the floor in his socks, wrapping his arms around me, and kissing my cheek "What do you want?" I ask.
"So, do you remember years ago when I told you I was going to take you anywhere you wanted to go? And that I'll find out from Rosa because you wouldn't tell me"
"Yes, I remember" I nod, turning around in his arms and wrapping mine around his neck.
"Well, I've done some research, while also spending hours on the phone with Rosa, and I have booked us a three week trip, just the two of us-" He motions between us "Three destinations" He holds up three fingers.
"But-"
"And before you ask about Amelia, I've talked to my mother and she said she would love to keep her" He cuts me off and I bite my lip "Come on, Baby" He pouts, kissing my nose "This will be good for us"
"What places do you have in mind?" I ask.
"I'll tell you one place, but you have to pack first and then get your cute ass back here" He winks, smacking my butt as I walk out of the kitchen.
"Austin!" I squeal and he laughs. I walk up the steps and throw clothes into a suitcase, some fancy for dates, some comfy for sleeping and lounging around and others casual. I zip up my suitcase and carry it downstairs, wondering what my soon to be husband has in mind "Okay, I packed, where are we going first?"
"We're going to the airport" He smirks, walking away from me "I'll be back in a few, love you"
"Austin wait-"
"Love you!" He repeats in a yell before running out of the house. I walk to the living room and sit next to Amelia, seeing her engrossed in her toys.
"Hi, Honey" I kiss her cheek "So, you're going to stay with grandmom for a little while okay?"
"Why?"
"Because Daddy and I are going on a trip"
"Can I go?"
"I wish you could but it's for adults only" I pout and so does she.
"Okay" She sighs dramatically.
"I love you though" I kiss her cheek. Austin comes back moments later, his mom following behind him with a suitcase in her hand.
"I told her she could stay here so she didn't have to continue to pay for a hotel" Austin tells me, and his mom smiles at me.
"That's fine" I nod, giving Michele a quick hug "Thank you"
"It's no problem really" She rubs my back "Anything for you two" She smiles.
"Well, we've got to go, our flight is leaving soon" He leans down to pick up Amelia, kissing all over her face "Daddy's going to miss you so much" He coos and she giggles "I love you"
"Love you Daddy" She leans in and kisses his cheek before reaching out towards me. I take her from Austin and kiss her cheeks "Love you Mommy"
"I love you more Baby" I hug her tightly before putting her down. I get teary eyed as I see her look up at me, her big eyes sparkling and a smile on her lips.
"Come on Baby Girl" Austin wraps his arm around my shoulder, kissing my temple.
"Okay" I nod, wiping under my eyes "Thank you again" I smile at Michele and she gives me a sympathetic one.
"I know how you're feeling" She gives me another hug "But trust me, once you're alone, it's so nice and quiet" She laughs and I laugh with her.
"Alright, we've got to go, I'll see you later mom" Austin waves and we walk outside, Austin grabbing our bags. Charlie is parked in the driveway and I get into the backseat, smiling and waving at him before putting on my seatbelt.
"Where are we going first?" I ask, and Austin looks at me.
"All I'm going to say is it's slightly cold there this time of year but everywhere else is pretty warm" He shrugs.
"Oh, thanks" I roll my eyes, my tone sarcastic.
"You're welcome" He kisses my cheek "You're going to find out where soon"
"Fine" I roll my eyes and we get to the airport and go through security. We get onto Austin's private jet and I roll my eyes, being completely fine if we had taken a public plane.
Austin greets his pilot and they talk quietly, his pilot looking at me from the corner of his eye. I sigh and lean back in my seat, pulling the blanket that is behind the seat over me.
Austin comes back and sits beside me, taking some of my blanket, and leaning his head against my shoulder "You might as well sleep, we're going to have a long flight and the time difference is killer"
I just want to know where we're going.
