Happy New Year!
I made Mommy into a book, go check it out :)
This is short, and idk why...
48. Rowan.
"So, this is our last stop" Austin kisses my cheek as we get off the plane. He told me that this time I don't have to wear a blindfold as there's a different surprise with being here. He holds my hand as we walk out to the car, dragging our suitcases behind us.
"Hello" The driver greets us, grabbing our bags and putting them away as we climb into the back seat.
"So when is this other surprise going to get here?" I ask, and Austin grins.
"Tomorrow"
"You're full of surprises lately" I snicker.
"Yeah, but I'm one-hundred percent sure this surprise is going to be better than all the others" He grins.
"I'm actually kind of worried. You're making me nervous"
"You should be. I'm actually planning on leaving tomorrow, that's the surprise" He teases, and I nod dramatically.
"Oh, okay. I can deal with that" I play along and he chuckles, wrapping his arm around me "I can't believe we're in Bora Bora! It's so pretty!"
"B-"
"If you say 'but not as pretty as you' I'm going to leave" I place my hand over his mouth, and he laughs.
"Alright, alright" He chuckles. We get to our little hut, that is literally right on the water. We carry our stuff inside, and go to the bed room to unpack. Once we're finished I collapse onto the bed, rolling onto my back and staring at the ceiling.
"I don't think I've ever been this happy" I gush "Except for when Amelia was born"
"I'm glad you're happy" Austin lays down next to me, kissing my cheek. He lays his head in my neck and wraps his arm around me, sliding one of his hands into mine.
"I love you so much" I tell him for the millionth time.
"I love you" He smiles, pecking my lips. He props himself up on one of his arms, cupping my cheek in one of his hands. He smiles down at me, giving me another kiss before sitting up completely, his back against the headboard of our bed.
I do the same, and lean my head on his shoulder, wrapping one of my arms around his "Can you believe we get to wake up to this every morning for two weeks?"
"Yeah, it's great" I nod, not sounding as enthusiastic as I had hoped.
"What's wrong, Baby?" He asks.
"I just miss Amelia I guess" I shrug "It's been so long since I've seen her and two more weeks seems like so far away"
"I know, I miss her too" He sighs, kissing my forehead. He wraps his arms tightly around me, and I smile slightly, looking up at him. He leans down to give me a kiss, and I grin, pulling away and kissing his cheek.
49. Austin
"Daddy!" Amelia yells, running up to me.
"Hi Baby" I grin, picking her up and spinning her around as I kiss her cheeks "I missed you so much"
"I missed you too Daddy" She wraps her arms tightly around my shoulders.
"Thanks Trish" I smile, giving her a hug.
"No problem, thanks for letting me use that amazing private jet, but I gotta go" She waves, and i wave back as she walks away.
"Let's go see Mommy" I pick up her tiny pink suitcase, carrying her out of the airport. We get into a taxi and take it to the hut, or as close as we can get to it. We climb out, and Amelia takes me hand as we walk to the hut.
We walk inside, and I take her to her room to put her stuff down. I kneel down to her level, and kiss her forehead "So, we're going to go see mommy, okay? But you gotta be quiet until we get into there"
"Okay" She nods, and I lead her to mine and Rowan's room.
"Go get her" I whisper, and she giggles loudly, running and jumping on Rowan.
"Mommy!" She yells, and when Rowan wakes up, she gasps, and wraps her arms tightly around Amelia, kissing her forehead repeatedly.
"Oh, my baby" She rocks her back and forth "Mommy missed you so much"
"I missed you too Mommy" Amelia smiles. I walk over to the bed, sitting down and smiling at the two of them "Mommy! I want to show you my bathing suit!"
"Alright, go get it"
"Okay" Amelia giggles before running out of the room.
"Surprise" I wrap my arms around Rowan, kissing her forehead.
"Thank you so much" She grins, kissing my lips repeatedly "You have no idea"
"I knew how much you missed her so I pulled some strings before we got here"
"You're the most amazing person ever"
"Mommy!" Amelia yells, her feet pattering down the hallway. Rowan smiles brightly when she walks into the room, and I know that I've made a great choice.
