I'm officially moved into college. I've already made a group of friends and they're all so cute.
I FOUND A $100 GIFT CARD TO TARGET YESTERDAY WHEN WALKING HOME FROM BINGO AND IT'S SO AMAZING BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO TARGET LATER TONIGHT TO BUY SOME MORE STUFF
Austin.
I watch Rowan as she walks around greeting everyone as they walk into the reception. My lip is taken between my teeth as I watch her smile, and hug everyone. I'm still in complete awe that this beautiful, outstanding, amazing, and absolutely perfect woman is now mine forever.
"Dude, save the undressing for later" Rob shoves me slightly.
"What?" I snap out of my daze, looking at him.
"You keep staring at her like you're taking her dress off" He snorts.
"It's because I am" I shrug, laughing "I'm just kidding, I just can't believe it"
"I'm surprised you're the first married, if I'm honest I thought it'd be Zach" He says.
"Well, nope, it was me" I chuckle "And my wife is hot as all fuck"
"I mean, you're not wrong" He says "Congrats to you" He pats my shoulder.
"Thanks, man" I smile, looking back to Rowan. She turns around and sends me a small wave, before motioning for me to come closer with her finger "I'll see you later" I tell Rob before walking over to Rowan, wrapping my arms around her small waist.
"Mm, hi Baby" I kiss her neck, and she grins, placing her hands over mine.
"Hi" She turns around in my arms, wrapping hers around my neck "How are you?"
"Well, let's see, I just married the most amazing girl ever, not to mention she's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," I kiss her forehead "I basically have the most perfect life right now" I kiss her cheeks "Oh, and I get to see you look hot as fuck all night long, so I'm pretty fucking amazing" I kiss her lips, and she smiles.
"I love you" She says, leaning her head against my chest.
"I love you more, Baby Girl"
"Mommy! Daddy!" I hear Amelia yell, and I look over and see her coming over on my mom's hip.
"Hi Honey" Rowan takes her from my mom, kissing her cheeks.
"Hi Princess" I lean in and give her a kiss, and she grins.
"I'm going to get her some food, want anything?" Rowan turns to me, and I shake my head.
"I'm okay, Baby" I say, and she nods before walking off.
I've never been so god damn happy before. She looks so good, and she's so perfect, and she all mine.
I just can't get over it.
I watch her get food for Amelia, before she sits down, sitting Amelia on her lap, and cutting up her food for her. I smile at the both of them, so thankful to have them both in my life.
The sound of someone tapping a utensil on the side of a glass breaks my attention and I see Rosa standing up on stage, a bright smile on her face. I take that as my cue to go sit down and I take a seat next to Rowan, scooting my chair closer to her so I can wrap my arm around her shoulder.
"For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rosa. Rowan go-to when she has a problem" She flips her hair over her shoulder and Rowan chuckles "I'm honestly so amazed at how happy she's been these last few years with Austin, I didn't think it was possible for her to be anything but crabby all the time" She snickers, and Rowan flips her off "But seriously, I've never seen two people more in love, and I'm so happy for the both of you, and may the only up and downs you experience in your relationship be in the bedroom..." She raises her glass "Or the shower, I don't know how y'all are" She laughs, and Rowan and I laugh loudly.
"Get off the stage" Rowan yells, and everyone laughs.
Next up I see Rob take the mic from Rosa, and I cover my face with my hands, only imagining how awful his speech is about to be.
"Hey, what's up? I'm Rob. I'm Austin's best friend, and I want to explain the time Austin stole my girlfriend" He says, and everyone 'ooh's' "We were in the 5th grade, you know just little 10 year old homies, walking around, just chillin, and I see this girl, and fell in love right there. I made her my girlfriend right there on that playground. Then a week later she breaks up with me, and later I find Austin holding hands with her. All I could think was damn, he always snagged the good ones. And although he didn't steal Rowan from me, I know he's got an amazing girl with him, and I couldn't be happier to have been able to witness the two of them being joined forever. Thank you" Everyone claps and Rowan leans over to me.
"I didn't know where he was going with that" She says into my ear.
"Me neither, but I'm pleasantly surprised" I say, turning my head to kiss her lips.
"I love you" She hums.
"I love you more"
