Chapter 6- the first friday

3 day time skip to friday

This past week i have made so many new friends! Juvia, lucy, levy, wendy, erza and mira are like the best friends ive ever had! And the guys are awesome too! Gajeel is still kinda scary but i can tell that hes a sweetheart deep down. Even ethan has warmed up to the little group weve be intoduced to. Ethan seems to have a great time hanging with the guys while they box and stuff. He even went skating with romeo and jellal yesterday. Ive also noticed somethings that have left me....perplexed. While its obvious i ship things because i read fanfics ive started to ship real life people. For example, juvia and gray would make the best couple! Not only that but gajeel and levy also have some chemistry going on. Ive even been noticing gay couples. Lucy is always around cana, making her feel better. Fried is laxus' number one man who will do anything for him and you can see that laxus cares. But today is friday and that means later tonight ill be attending my first highschool party!
I woke up with just enough time to dress and make breakfast. I quickly put on my uniform and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast but when i got down there, ethan was already dressed, drinking coffee with a bowl of cereal. "Whyre you up so early?" I asked him. "Student council meeting," he told me. I was surprised. "So youre really commited, huh?" He looked up at me before answering, "yeah i actually like it," he stood up and pushed his chair in, "plus i can help organize stuff and be around mira all day," he said. 'Oh so THATS it!' "Mira, huh?" I asked him with a smirk. "No i didnt mean- i-" he quickly picked up his bookbag n headed towards the door, "whatever i have to get going. Ill meet u afterwards," and with that he left the house making me laugh at his shyness. 'He finally has a crush on a girl!' I thought. Since i didnt have to make breakfast for ethan i only made myself a piece of toast while scrolling through my tumblr. Once i finished my toast i made myself a cup of tea and left for school. When i got outside i noticed pink hair and the end of our yard. "Natsu?" I asked as i approached him. "What are you doing here?" I asked. He smiled brightly as he answered, "well i heard that ethan was going to the council meeting so i figured i could walk you to school," "uh, thanks i guess," i told him as we started walking. I still had my tea in a to-go cup and was drinking it slowly as we walked. "S'that coffee?" He asked me. "No, tea." I answered. "Good, coffee is not as good as the ever impressive darjeeling!" He said. "I know! I have darjeeling right now!" I said. He looked at me and smiled brightly before asking, "can i have some?" I shrugged my shoulders and handed him my cup. He took a sip before asking, "can i finish this?" I nodded to him. He lifted the cup and drank it all. When it was all gone and nothing was left except for a drip on the lid, he licked it. I dont usually notice how attractive guys can be sometimes but..... Damn has natsu made me notice. In this past week he has made go from, 'oh youre kinda cute' to 'natsu you are so damn hot' and i dont know how. He hasnt even actually done anything, maybe it could be that i always see the guys right after boxing practice. We walked to school together and the rest of the day was like any other. At the end of the day the swim team had made great improvemnts. "Well girlies, it looks like youre all improving a great deal," aquarius told us. "Come back next week ready to train harder!" She told us. "Ah right! The competition is next friday!" Laki said. Aquarius and juvia nodded. "Who is it against, again?" Lisanna asked. "Oh lamia scale, they have only two female members on their swim team," aquarius told us. "I heard lamia scale is really good," laki said. "They have nothing on our two here!" Lisanna pointed towards me and juvia. "Aww thankyou, but its mostly juvia," i told them. We wrapped up our meeting and me and juvia headed to meet the guys. When we walked in jellal and ethan were in the ring, boxing. We didnt really pay much attention to their match. Juvia ran over to gray and started talking to him while i filled cups of water for everyone. The second day i came in here igneel asked me to get the boys drinks ready so ive been doing it everyday since. As i finished filling the final cup igneel approached me, "as hard working as ever i see," he said happily. "Well id need water if i was doing this much work," i told him. "Youre too kind," he said. "Oh no, im just being nice to some friends," i said with a smile. "Well i can now give you two my blessing," he said. I looked at him confused before asking, "youre blessing??" He chuckled and straightened up before replying, "yes! You and my boy would make a lovely couple-" he coulnt finish because natsu ran over and started screaming, "dad, what the hell?" He yelled. "What?" Igneel replied innocently, "with the way you talk about her i would think youd-" natsu tackled him to the ground. I could hear igneel laughing as they were rolling around on the floor. By this point jellal and ethan had stopped fighting and everyone was watching. Eventually igneel ended up on top, pinning natsu down, "calm down boy," he told him. Although i was probably blushing widly i could still hear myself giggling. "I wont say anything else," igneel told him. "You better not," natsu said through gritted teeth. "Just that you picked a keeper," igneel said as he got off natsu. They both stood and dusted themselves off before igneel spoke, "alright thats enough. Go get dressed," he told them. While the boys were in the locker room me and juvia talked. "So, you have his blessing," juvia told me. I blushed a deep shade of red, "its not like that!" I told her, igneel who was on the other side of the gym looked over and smirked as i yelled this. "Well youre the only one who sees it that way," she replied confidently. "So-" i started to speak again, "d-do you really think-" i stopped for a moment but i could tell that juvia was still listening, "do you really think natsu likes me?" I asked shyly. Juvia chuckled, "of cou-" i didnt notice but igneel had made his way over to us, "of course he does, dear." Igneel said. "With the way he talks about you," he pointed at me, "id say hes in love," he finished. 'I-in love?' "See!" Juvia said proudly. I didnt have time to respond because the boys came out of the locker room and approached us. When natsu saw that we were talking to igneel he stormed over and grabbed me defensivley. "What have you been saying to her?" He asked his dad as he pulled me closer into his chest. "Dont worry, nothing that concerns you." He said. "Ahem." Ethan walked over to us. "Mind releasing my sister?" He asked. "Oh- s-sorry," natsu said as he let go of me. "Coming ethan?" Jellal asked as headed out the door. I could see mira behind him waiting for them. "Ready for photography?" I asked natsu. He nodded his head as we walked out. When i turned around i noticed both igneel and juvia wink at me. We got the the classroom and like usual no one was in there. We sat for a moment before i asked, "so did you develop your photo of beauty?" I asked. "Uh- yeah," he replied timidly. "Whats wrong?" I asked him. "Nothing." "Well you seem.... I dont know. Nervous." I finally said. "Maybe i am," he said right at mr. Reedus walked in. "Okay kids, today i just want to see your stunning photos!" He told us. I pulled out my photo and showed him. It was the photo i took the first day of the tree. While laying next to natsu the sun filtered through the leaves and it shimmered amazingly. "This is great!" Reedus said. "So why did you chose this one?" He asked me. I thought for a moment, "well the light through the leaves is beautiful but also," i paused. "It was my first day here. So it makes me think of all the new friends ive made," i finished. "That is even more beautiful!" Reedus exclaimed. "Yeah thats really cute," natsu said with a pink tint on his cheeks. "I am so impressed," reedus told me as i sat down. "Now natsu, lets see yours" reedus said. Natsu stood up and took out a photo. He showed reedus and it was facing away from me so that i couldnt see it, "why this is a nice photo," reedus said. "I can see why you chose this," he finished. "I wanna see too!" I complained. Reedus looked to natsu for permission before taking the picture and handing it to me. His picture was from the same day as mine. Except it was a picture of...me. It was a side angle shot of me, i was holding the camera above me face and you could see the light reflecting. I wore a light smile and even had a pink tint on my cheeks. I inspected the photo for a few minutes before reedus spoke, "would you like to tell us why you chose that picture?" He asked natsu. "Sure um," natsu began to speak. "I chose this because that day when i looked at her, i thought she was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen," he finished. I felt my face heat up and a smile creep across my cheeks. "Well im glad that this is the club that you guys can form your relationship in," reedus said. "No i- i didnt mean-" natsu started to speak but reedus put up his hand signalling him to shut up, "dont need to say anything. I get the picture," he finished. "You lovebirds can leave. Well talk more on monday," he told us. "O-okay," natsu said. We both packed up our stuff and left the room. "So..." Natsu started to speak as we walked down the halls. "So i didnt creep you out?" He asked. "Why would that creep me out?" I laughed. "Because of the picture....and..what i said," he sounded scared when he talked. "No the picture is beautiful," i told him. He looked up excitedly as i spoke, "and youre words were kind. They made me feel, happy.," i told him. "So its not creepy?" He asked. "An amazing and super hot guy just called me beautiful, why would i be creeped out?" As i asked this i realized what i had said. We reached the front door to the school and sat on the bench outside as we continued talking. 'Shit, i just told him that i think hes hot,' i thought. "You think im hot?" He asked me. I felt myself blushing even harder as i started to answer, "well yeah i-" we were next to eachother on the bench but i could see him starting to move closer. "I think youre-" his hand was placed on mine as i tried to find the strength to keep talking, "youre so-" before i could finish natsu came even closer to me. His face was inches apart from mine and i could feel his breath on my lips. 'Oh my god! Hes going to kiss me!!!!!' My mind went crazy. Our noses just barely touched and i felt his lip brush against mine. I got one last look at his georgous face before i closed my eyes, bracing for impact. 'This feels heavenly' Our lips had just barely made contact when- "get off of her, right now!" I heard ethan yelling. We pulled apart quickly and saw ethan, jellal, mira and erza approaching us.
