Chapter 7- before the party

Miras POV
I am currently setting up trays of food and bowls of punch for the party tonight. Once elfman and lisanna came home i could ask elfman to get alchohol. We dont drink much but highschool parties like this almost require it. 'besides its the only way cana will show up,' i laughed to myself. Elfman could call his friend evergreen who had another friend that would buy us booze. After i set up a tray of food in our living room i placed a bowl of punch on the table by our pool. I decorated a bit and even got the large stereos downstairs by myself. I had to carry them all the way from my room but i made it in one trip. Once lisanna and elfman got home i had more help. Lisanna decorated while i made food and elfman called everyone and ordered us some liquor. "So hows the student council going, sis?" Elfman asked me in between calls. "Okay, i guess. Ethan is a great addition," i told him. "So you like him, huh?" Lisanna asked me with a smirk. My eyes got wide, "wh-what?! Why would you-" "aw come on, dont lie!" She said. "Well what about you and bickslow, huh? I dont see you confessing your love for him." I snapped at her. "Well thats- thats totally different and you know it!" She said. "Okay guys just...sh!" Elfman told us. "Dont even make me bring up evergreen!" I yelled. "Yeah is youre girlfriend on the phone now?" Lisanna mocked. I loved spending time with my family like this. We could all just talk, laugh and have fun. My mother passed away right after lisanna was born and my father is always away on buissness. We may have a large estate but we really only use this one wing of the manor and the pool. Everyone loved the pool during our parties! I cant wait!

Grays POV
'Maybe i should text juvia,' i thought to myself. 'Its not like i miss her or anything,' i assured myself as i pulled out my phone and typed.

Natsus POV
'I want to talk to ever,' i thought as i got dressed for the party. 'If only ethan hadnt interupted us! That kiss was going to be amazing!' I thought as i took out my phone. I texted her,
Me: i cant wait to see you tonight.
It took a few minutes but ever responded
Ever: do you think i can get that kiss this time?
I felt like i was on cloud 9 when i read that message
Me: if you want it i will gladly oblige

Evers POV
"Let me do your hair!" Lucy sqeauled. "Uh okay," i said as i handed her my brush. We were currently at lucys house getting ready for the party. As she began brushing my hair levy asked, "juvia could you do my hair? I love the way you did yours," she told her. Juvia blushed and took levys brush, "aww thankyou levy, id be honored." Juvia had her hair down and curled and she began curling levys hair. Erza had har hair just down and straight, so did wendy. Lucy had her hair in a side ponytail and she was currently putting my hair in a side braid. "So erza, whats been going on with you and jellal?" Levy asked her with a smile. "Wh-what do you mean?" Erza stuttered out. Levy winked at her before cana answered, "i think you know what she means," me and wendy were giggling while this was going on. "I-i uh- i think we may be dating now." She answered. Juvia and lucy both screamed, "youre dating?!" Erza smiled proudly, "well- yes- i- i think so," she said. She explained to us what had happened between them and we all agreed that they are a couple now. "I have a skirt that fits you perfectly!" Lucy told me. She pulled out a super bright red mini skirt. "That is way too short!" I told her. "Come on! Show off those legs!" Cana said. "It would complement your black blouse perfectly," erza said confidently. "At least try it on," lucy urged. I slipped off my shorts and put the skirt on and when i did they all gasped. "Wow." Lucy admired me. "If i didnt already like someone i would be hittin on you, tonight!" Cana said. "You do look good," wendy smiled. "You just have to wear it!" Juvia told me. "Okay- wait, did you say you like someone cana?" We all looked towards cana. "What- me- no" she tried to brush it off but we all persisted. At the same time we heard two phones go off. Both me and juvia pulled out our phones and checked them. It was from natsu,

Natsu<3: i cant wait to see you tonight

I blushed just from reading his text and i sat the phone in my lap unsure of what to say. As i did this i looked at juvia and she looked like she was in a similar postion. By this point the other girls had noticed our silence and were watching us, "uh- guys?" Wendy asked. "Gray-gray sama-" juvia couldnt finished her sentence. "What did he do?" Cana asked getting upset. "I swear ill kill him if he-" Erza picked up her phone forecefully but stopped talking when she looked at the screen. She stared at it for a second before jumping up and down, "the idiot finally realized!" She screamed. We were all staring at her in wonder before she showed us the phone, there, on the screen was a message from gray that said,

Gray-sama<3: i dont know why but i really miss you.

After we all freaked out about gray we calmed juvia down enough to reply. She ended replying something along the lines of, "well we can be together tonight,". Once we all calmed down i showed them the text i was struggling with. When i did this erza laughed, "i guess he wants to finish what he started earlier,' she said. Everyone looked at her wonderingly. "What happened earlier?" Cana asked with a wink. "N-nothing we just-" i couldt explain myself because erza did, "ethan caught her and natsu about to kiss," she said plainly. "Really?" Juvia asked shocked. "Wow the boy moves fast," cana said. "Yeah they both pulled away blushing furiously," erza continued as i tried to quiet her down. "Thats actually kinda cute, in a way," wendy said. I looked at her questioningly before she continued, "having a brother that looks out for you like that." She said. "Yeah but im sure ever wanted that kiss just as much as natsu did," levy said with a smirk. "Oh you could see it all over her face, that she did-" erza continued. "Okay lets just keeep getting ready, kay guys?" I said trying to move of this subject. "Whatever," lucy said with a chuckle.
