Chapter 34- preparing a case

Ethans POV
I woke up early enough to make breakfast for ever and erza when they arrived. By the time i was done making breakfast they were both here and so were natsu and jellal. "Oh wow, you actually cooked for once," ever said. "Yeah i figured id give you some more time to get ready," i told her. She smiled, "great! Erza you can change in my room while i shower," she said as they went upstairs. "Youre going with natsu took meet the prosecutor today, right?" Jellal asked me. I nodded, "of course, i was there too." I told him. "Very well. However obba asked to speak with ever in private, if that is fine with her," jellal mentioned. "Why do you think she wants it to be private?" Natsu asked. Jellal shrugged, "i dont know. I guess she figures she would be more comfortable in just female company," jellal answered. "Well if ever can do it, then i guess im fine with it," i answered. "Okay so after school, well all meet outfront?" Natsu said. "Yeah after student council ill just-" i got interupted, "no need ethan. We can handle the student council today, you go." Jellal told me. "Are you sure?" I asked making jellal nod, "yes we have all talked about it already," jellal told me. "Okay then i guess we can go after boxing," i said, just then ever and erza came back down and sat at the table. "Lets eat!" Erza said happily. We all ate breakfast like normal, "so could we stop here after school so could get dressed?" Ever asked. Natsu nodded, "yeah im sure my dad will be fine with that," he answered.

Evers POV
I was eating my sandwich when i felt juvia tapp me on the shoulder, "hey ever," she whispered. I turned towards her, "whats up?" I asked. "Is everything okay? I know youre going to form a case today and i just want to make sure youre doing okay," she said worried. I smiled lightly, "dont worry juvia, im fine!" I told her. "Okay you guys have been keeping something secret, what is it?" Gajeel asked me and natsu. "What do you mean?" Natsu chuckled. "Well you guys take off and show up the next day acting all weird. Next thing i know erza is teaching ever self defense and your marking her all over!" Gajeel said. "I mean, you guys have been acting strange," laxus said. "It-its nothing," i said not wanting to tell everyone. Lisanna, erza and juvia looked at me sympathetically. "Is it something bad ever? Ill help you with anything you need, just tell me," lucy said. "Natsu, just be a real man and tell us!" Elfman said. "Elfman, stop," i heard lisanna tell him. I could feel myself getting more nervous by the second. Its not that i didnt want them to know i just, dont want to worry anyone. "Hey maybe a little booze will help whatever it is," cana said while lucy shook her head. "You dont have to tell us if you dont want to," wendy told me. "Why wont you guys just tell freaking us?" Gray asked. "Maybe its none of your damn buissness, gray!" juvia said turning up her nose and making all of us gasp. "Whats gotten into you? Of course its our buissness! Shes our friend too! If somethings happened we want to know!" Gray yelled. Everyone stopped arguing and just looked at me and natsu. "Ever, you dont have to say anything you dont want to," ethan told me while jellal nodded. "Its okay ever, i understand if youre nervous," levy told me. "Well all be here for you," mira told me. "Well i uh- on sunday night i uh- got attacked," i blurted out making alot of people gasp. "What? By who?" Levy asked. "Did they try to do anything to you?" Cana asked making me nod. "Who the fuck-" gray began but i interupted him. "It was my ex tony. But dont worry, i am pressing charges on him and im even taking self defense lessons from erza," i told them. "Why did you tell us, ever?" Lucy asked. "Well i- i just didnt want anyone to get worried or upset," i said. "But ever, were more worried when we dont know whats going on," mira explained. "You guys promise youre not mad?" I said. "At you? Of course we arent, ever!" Wendy said. "Doesnt mean we arent made at anthony," romeo mumbled. "So youre telling me he attacked you?" Gajeel said through gritted teeth. "Well uh- yeah," i said as i showed him my wrists. "He did that to you?" Elfman asked surprised. I nodded, "but really guys, dont worry im fine," i assured them. "Ethan and natsu even came to help me that night," i explained. "So if i cant worry can i hunt him down and-" "no, fried," evergreen stopped him. This whole time laxus was silent, "laxus, are you, alright?" Natsu asked. Laxus nodded, "yeah im okay. Im just trying to think of the best way to get this guy back," laxus said. "I think i know someone," gray said as he took out his phone. "No guys, please dont do anything," i told them. Both of them scowled at me, "but-" "gray sama," juvia said ina warning tone, he put his phone in his pocket before looking back to me, "thankyou. Now guys, listen, i have everything under control. Im fine," i told them. "Okay but that doesnt mean were not worried," mira said. "Well dont be," i said. "Thats not really an option," levy told me. We spent the rest of lunchtime talking about where we should all meet before homecoming. We decided that all us girls would go to miras house to get ready and the guys would go to my house to get ready with ethan. We would all meet at the dance when it started. "See you tommorow night, ever!" Lisanna said as we left swim practice. Apparently aquarius is the reason that obba asked to speak to me in private. Aquarius told her that i would need some privacy to explain every detail. I really appreciate aquarius' efforts to make me feel better. When we got into the gym all the guys were already dressed sitting on the bleachers talking again. Me and juvia approached them and sat down, "oh hey girls," igneel said as we sat. "We were just waiting for you guys to head out," natsu said as they all stood. "Oh okay i guess," juvia said. "Want to go to dinner?" Gray asked juvia making her blush, "uh- of course gray sama!" Juvia said getting happy. "See you tommorow ever!" Juvia said as they left. "Well shes always been an odd ball. Catch ya later natsu," gajeel said as he left. "Okay ethan listen, well be fine without you for today. But well be at your house tommorow, see you then," jellal said as he left. "Ever, im going to make sure tony gets expelled from lamia scale," laxus said as he left. "No thats okay you dont need to-" he was already out the door. "You guys ready?" Igneel asked. "Can we stop at my house?" I asked him. He nodded, "yeah natsu already asked, thats fine," he answered.
