Chapter 13- a calm day off

Evers POV
I woke up the next morning and felt great. I hopped into the shower before straightening my hair and getting dressed. Once i was done i looked at the time and saw that it was only noon. I went downstairs and noticed ethan sitting on the couch on his phone. "What do you want for lunch?" I asked him as i walked into the kitchen. "Eh, im fine with anything," he told me. I began making sandwiches but stopped to look at my phone when i got a text.
Juvia: heyy. Would you want to hangout? Im bored
Me: i guess you could come over if you want. I was just about to make lunch
Juvia: that sounds great! Can i bring along gray sama?
Me: i guess thats alright
I began making sandwiches again but quickly got another text.
Natsu<3: hey ever
Me: hey natsu. Whats up?
Natsu<3: not much. Can i see you? Please?
I felt butterflies in my stomach after reading this text.
Me: if you want to come over for lunch you can. I already told juvia and gray they could
Natsu<3: great. Ice queen is gonna be there? Ill still come though. I get to see you!
Me: okay ill see you soon
Natsu<3: i cant wait
I began making sandwiches but was once again interupted by a text, 'who is it now?' I thought angrily. It was a random number.
Unknown number: hey, ever? Could you help me?
Me: um sure but...who is this?
Unknown number: oh its wendy!
Me: oh okay! Hey wendy.
Wendy: so could you help me with something?
Me: whats that?
Wendy: well romeo wants to hangout with me today...
Me: thats great! Dont you like him?
Wendy: yeah but...im nervous. I dont know what to do or what to talk about! Could you and natsu possibly come with us?
Me: well uh.... Currently making breakfast but a bunch of people are coming over to eat and hangout. You and romeo could come on over if youd like.
Wendy: are you sure?
Me: yeah i dont mind. Im making everyone sandwiches
Wendy: awesome! Ill meet with romeo and bring him there!
Me: okay see you soon
Wendy: thankyou so much ever!
Me: no problem wendy
After me and wendy talked i went out to ethan, "hey uh- ethan" i called out to him. He looked up at me, "huh?" He asked. "Well um. We have a few people coming over. I told juvia she could bring gray when she came over. I also told wendy she could bring romeo with her. Also natsu is coming," i told him. He held the bridge of his nose and sighed, "im sorry is- something wrong?" I asked confused. "No not really its just that- i told mira she could come with her siblings and i told jellal, erza and laxus they could come" he told me. I laughed, "so were gonna have a full house, arent we?" I asked. He nodded his head. "The only ones that arent coming are lucy, cana, levy and gajeel. Because you know laxus will be bringing the other three," he admitted. I thought for a moment before responding, "thats not fair! We should invite them!" I said. He sighed before answering, "i guess so. Ill text gajeel. Text lucy, will ya?" I nodded my head before going back to the kitchen. Once i did i texted lucy,
Me: hey lucy. Would you and cana want to come over for lunch? Everyone else is already on their way.
She answered a moment later with the funny contact name i gave her.
Rich girl: sure. Ill wake cana and then head on over. Everyone is gonna be there?
Me: pretty much everyone. Itll be fun though
Lucy: im sure! Well be over soon
Me: okay see u then
I went back to making sandwiches. I had only made about ten when i heard a knock on the door. "Ill get it!" I heard ethan call out. I heard ethan open the door and greet someone, "hey. Come in. Evers in the kitchen making food. You can go in if youd like." He told them. 'Is it natsu?' I thought. Just then juvia and gray entered the kitchen. "Ever!" Juvia said happily as she approached me. "Hey guys. You made it here fast." I said. Juvia chuckled, "i made gray sama jog here," she admitted while gray laughed lightly behind her. "Why?" I asked wonderingly. "Oh well i like to get in as much training as i can before matches!" She admitted while she showed me her leg muscles. "Haha i guess that makes sense." I admitted. "Oh shit! I havent been training at all!" I remembered. "Well youre good to begin with so you shouldnt have to worry. Its more of stamina thing," juvia told me. "Im sure natsu would train with you," gray replied with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at him before asking, "so are either of yous going to help?" When they looked towards the stack of already made sandwiches gray asked, "my god. How many people are you feeding?" I laughed before answering, "well its just a calm day with friends..... lets see. Theres me and ethan, you and juvia, natsu is on his way, so is jellal, erza, mira, elfman, lisanna, lucy, cana, wendy, romeo, gajeel, levy, and laxus who im sure will bring the other three. So thats... About twenty," i finally told them. Gray looked at me astonished while juvia laughed, "this is priceless! This is gonna be fun!" She said while still laughing. I looked at her quizically, "what?" I asked. She continued to laugh, "getting everyone together is the opposite of calm! Fun, yes. But calm, no." She finally stopped laughing. "Whatever, are you gonna help?" I finally asked. "Sure ill help." She told me. Gray began walking away, "well ill just go hang with ethan. Im not a cook," he said as he walked into the living room. "So natsu is coming over?" Juvia asked me with a smirk as gray left the room.
