Chapter 27- rowen date (sorta)

Evers POV
The next morning i woke up and i could hear ethan in the kitchen making food. I grabbed my phone off the table and texted wendy,
Me: heyy wendy. Where is romeo taking you for your date?
I got a reply a few minutes later.
Wendy: hey ever. I think hes taking me to that cafe across from the school for lunch in a bit. Why?
Me: no reason. Tell me how it goes when your done?
Wendy: sure ill text u afterwards
Me: cool talk to you then
After i texted wendy i text two other people that i knew would be interested in helping me with something.
Me: hey guys...
Juvia: hey ever, whats up?
Mira: are u thinking what im thinkin?
Me: i think i am!
Juvia: what are you two thinking!
Me: well romeo is taking wendy to the cafe....
Juvia: and u two want to spy on them?!
Me: well yeah...
Mira: just to see...how it goes
Me: yeah.. thats it
Juvia: lol ill meet you there in an hour
Mira: yes! I love spying!
Me: see you guys there
After we formed a plan i went to my room and got dressed. By the time i came back down ethan was sitting on the couch with a plate of eggs and bacon. "Morning, you gonna eat?" He asked me. I grabbed a piece of bacon off his plate and ate it, "no me and a few of the girls are going to hangout," i told him. "Okay just dont come in too late," he said. I nodded as i shut the door behind me. The walk to the school was quiet and actually chilly. "Hey ever!" Mira called my name happily. "Hey mira, you ready to spy?" I asked. She nodded, "of course. We just have to wait to see them arrive," she explained while i nodded. "By the way, have you seen juvia?" I asked. Just then i felt a presence behind me, "im right here!" Juvia said making me jump. "Ah! There they are!" Mira yelled pushing both of us down so they could see us. "Can we at least go behind that bush over there?" Juvia asked. Mira nodded and slowly brought us to the bush. From behind the bush we could see wendy and romeo being sat at a table in the cafe. "So cute" mira said.

Natsus POV
I woke up early and decided to text ever,
Me: heyy ever. Whats up?
I waited a few minutes before i got a text back.
Ever: hey sorry cant text ttyl
I read her text and it actually made me sad. I understand that she has other things to do but i was really hoping we could text today. However, I figured i should text some of the guys to get my mind off it.
Me: heyy stripper, whats up?
Ice princess: sitting at home, y?
Me: im bored. Ever said she cant talk
Ice princess: thats wierd, same with juvia
Me: theyre probably together
Ice princess: that would make sense
I thought about what i should say when i remembered, romeo and wendy are supposed to be on their date right now!
Me: dude, romeo and wendy went to that cafe across from school, right?
Ice princess: yeah i think so, why?
Me: well i just think we should watch out for wendy
Ice princess: what do you mean?
Me: i mean i wouldnt want her to get hurt
Ice princess: i feel the same.
Gajeel: so do i
Me: !!!!!
Ice princess: !!!!! When did you get here?
Gajeel: ive been here the whole time. Seems like dumbass didnt know that he opened our group chat...
Me: ....
Ice princess: natsu, what the hell!
Gajeel: hehe
Me: i didnt do it on purpose! Plus he agrees with us!
Ice princess: okay so then what are we going to do about it
Gajeel: i say we watch their date to make sure romeo is treating her right
Ice princess: isnt that a little....messed up?
Gajeel: no. Well...maybe. Were just looking out for her.
Me: for once i agree with gajeel.
Ice princess: whatever, lets go
After we all agreed to meet outside of of the school i got dressed. I grabbed my phone and wallet before heading downstairs. "Where are you off to?" Dad asked me as i walked down the steps. "Out with some friends," i answered plainly. "Could it be your girlfriend?" He asked me making sure to enunciate the girlfriend. "No. Evers busy. Im just going to meet up with gray and gajeel," i told him. He rolled his eyes, "oh dear god. Just you three? Please dont get into any trouble," he said sounding worried. I rolled my eyes back at him, "shutup, we can behave," i told him. "Okay you can go just dont get arrested!" He yelled as i left. "No promises!" I called out to him as i left. I got to the school and gray and gajeel were already there. "Hey took ya long enough," gajeel said as i approached. "Oh shut it, my dad told us not to get arrested," i said jokingly. "I sure hope we dont," gray replied. "Cant make any promises about that," gajeel said. "Have you guys seen wendy or romeo yet?" I asked them. Gajeel nodded, "they got seated like ten minutes ago," gray told me. "So how do we get a closer look?" I asked. Gray shrugged his shoulders, "dont ask me, im not fluent in the art of stalking," he explained. Gajeel chuckled, "i got this. That huge bush over there," he said as he pointed to a long curved bush outside of the cafe. Me and gray gave him a worried glance as we followed. "I found out alot from juvia," gajeel explained. "Thats scary," gray mumbled. "Bend the hell down! Whats the point of going behind a bush if you just stand above it?" Gajeel said telling gray to get down. "They look like theyre having fun," i said as we watched. Romeo and wendy were sitting at a table across from eachother. They both had coffee cups in their hands and they were smiling widely. "Lets try to get closer," gajeel said. Me and gray both nodded.
