Chapter 26- halloween party

Evers POV
Natsu and i followed ethan into the house. There was a ton of people and loud music blaring. "Everyone is up in miras room," ethan yelled towards us. I nodded to him as natsu grabbed my hand. We walked up the steps and ethan lead us into the front bedroom. "Heyy! Theyre here!" Cana said happily as we walked into the room. "Now the party can really start, baby!" Bickslow said while lisanna was sitting on his lap. "Hey ever, im glad youre here!" Wendy said happily. "Come sit with me!" Juvia said. "Youre costume is so cute!" Lucy told me. "Yo natsu, you liking the tights?" Gajeel said with a laugh. "Hey! I told ever she could pick my costume!" He yelled as we sat down in between juvia and ethan. "So i have ever to thank for this picture?" Gray said as he snapped a photo. "Please send that to me," laxus said with a chuckle. "So first!" Mira said loud enough to quiet everyone down. "I saw we go around and explain our costumes!"'erza stated. "Sounds good," jellal said with a nod. "Let me get another bottle first!" Cana said as she stood up. "Bring me a shot glass?" I asked her. She cocked her head to the side, "i didnt know you drink," she said. I smiled sweelty, "well i dont really but a few shots shouldnt be bad," i explained. "Anyone else?" She asked as she was at the door. Juvia, ethan, gajeel and fried all said they would like a few shots as well. "Vodka or tequila?" Mira asked. "Ooh options!" Cana exclaimed. "I say tequila," fried said. "Ill try some i guess..." wendy said sheepishly. "Ooh wendy! Getting brave are we?" Erza said with a smirk. "Well i just want to try it," wendy said. "Tequila it is!" Cana exclaimed as she left the room. "Please dont get drunk," lisanna said. "Shit! I forgot to tell her to grab my six pack!" Bickslow said as he stood up in a hurry. "Grab my wine while youre up!" Evergreen exclaimed as bickslow left the room. "That dope better bring my wine back," "im sure he will," lisanna said. "Here we go!" Cana said as she entered the room. "Lets all take a drink before we start!" She said. "Well im driving tonight so ill be drinking my cherry cola," natsu said with a smile. "Agreed," jellal said. "Shot for me, shot for ever," cana began pouring shots as bickslow came back, "did you get my-" evergreen was about to ask but bickslow cut her off, "yeah yeah, heres your wine. I also ran into a few familiar faces," he said as he handed her a large bottle of wine. "Heyy shelia! Im so happy youre here!" Wendy said as lyon and shelia came in. "Hello everyone. Happy halloween!" Shelia said happily as she sat next to wendy. "Gray..." lyon trailed off. "Hey lyon! Whats up dude?" Natsu said. "Hello natsu. And hello to everyone else. Im sorry for what happened after the swim meet last month," lyon told me. I nodded, "its okay lyon it wasnt your fault," i explained. "Lyon....." gray said making us both turn towards him. "Nice costume lyon!" Juvia daid proudly. "Ooh we have a double!" Lucy said pointing towards gray and lyon. "Well one of us is going to have to change-" gray said jokingly. "Okay so here we go!" Cana said raising the tequila bottle. "Shot for fried, shot for juvia, shot for gajeel, shot for ethan and finally.... a shot for our adventurous little wendy!" Cana finished pouring them. "Shall we toast?" Mira asked. "That sounds splendid," erza said. "A toast!" Cana held up her shot glass. "To friendship!" Lucy said. "To friend ship!" We all said. I quickly raised my shot glass and drank it. It was easy to swallow but it burned a little bit. The burn was in my throat and i wanted to get it out so i quickly grabbed natsus soda from his hand. "There ya go!" Cana said. "Need a little chaser, huh?" Gajeel asked. I looked over to wendy and noticed that she had grabbed romeos drink and was chugging it. "I think ill stick to wine and fruity drinks," wendy admitted. "Spoken like a real lady," evergreen told her. "I really liked that tequila," gajeel said. "Spoken like a real man!" Elfman told him. "It was good. How did you girls feel about it?" Fried asked me and juvia. "It was alright i suppose. Better than vodka," she admitted. "It tasted alright but it burned my throat," i told him. "That was strong alcohol does," ethan said. "Oh yeah, im sure the angel would know," natsu said with a laugh. "Oh yeah! We were gonna say our costumes!" Mira said. "Lets start with us!" She said happily. She looked towards ethan, "you can all see im an angel," ethan said. Is made most of us chcukle, "thats a big lie," gajeel said while gray nodded. "Well as you can see i am dressed as ariel," erza said as she stood. "Who?" Gajeel asked. Levy and lucy gasped, "the little mermaid!" Levy scolded him. "Its an awesome disney movie!" Lucy told him. "Yeah dude, even i know that," natsu said. "So i assume youre prince eric?" I asked jellal. He nodded. "Well i think the black wig looks great on you," juvia said. "Thankyou," jellal told her. "I think you make an amazing ariel, erza!" Lisanna said. Erza bowed to us before sitting down. "So laxus...." natsu said with a slight chuckle. "Yeah yeah get all your jokes out now," laxus said. "Well that onsie looks confortable," erza told him. "Im sure its warm!" Wendy said. "Well i think he looks adorable! I am ash ketchum and he is my cute pikachu!" Fried said defnding laxus. "Aw fried..," evergreen said, admiring him. "Put the hood on, babe." Fried told laxus. Laxus rolled his eyes before putting up the hood on the onsie. It gave laxus pikachu ears! "Okay that is really cute," i admitted. "Laxus you should wear this everyday," mira said. "Okay we can move on now. So what about you bickslow?" Laxus said trying to move on. "Cant you tell? Im the joker, baby!" Bickslow said while sticking out his tongue. "You make an adorable little harley quinn, sis." Mira said. "Did you really dye your hair?" Levy asked lisanna. "No its just the chalk. But i really like these colors," lisanna said. "Why is no one complimenting my costume?" Buckslow whined. "Oh calm down," erza said. "Hey bickslow..." natsu said with a smirk. "Huh?" Bickslow asked. "Natsu- dont." Ethan warned. "Whats on your face?" Natsu asked while ethan face palmed. "Ooh!" Bickslow said in realization, "do you wanna know how i got these scars??" He said before cracking up. "Thats like the hundreth time youve said that today!" Lisanna scolded him. "What about my costume? it itches like hell," elfman said from next to lisanna. "Wha-what are you even wearing dude?" Gajeel said through laughs. "Dont ask me! Ask evergreen! She did this to me!" Elfman almost yelled. "Care to explain the dirt marks?" Lisanna asked evergreen. "Well... elfman told me that i could dress him up. What better couples costume than a princess and a peasant?" She asked. Her ball gown was long and fancy. It was green with silver lace accents while elfman wore what looked like potato sacks. "And you agreed to this?" Jellal asked him. Elfman rolled his eyes, "i agreed before i knew what she was going to dress me as," elfman explained. "But evergreen, you said it was a couples costume," mira said with a smirk. Evergreen blushed before retorting, "it was not like that and you know it! I meant couple as in a couple of people! Friends!" She said while we all laughed. "Well wendy, dont you look cute!" Evergreen said trying to change the subject. "Oh you do look adorable!" I squealed. "And you look smaller than normal too," gajeel said. "I love how to train your dragon!" Natsu screamed. "Oh thats what its from?" I asked him. Natsu looked at me surprised, "have you not seen it? Its awesome!" He spoke like a little child which made me giggle. "Toothless! Thats the name of the dragon!" Gray shouted. "Yeah its such a cute black dragon that i had to dress as it," wendy explained. "Romeo...." i said slowly, "do you watch a show called fairytail?" I asked him. He nodded and smiled, "so you know who im supposed to be? I figured id stick with wendys black dragon theme...." he explained. "You are so not achnologia!" Ethan yelled. This made wendy laugh, "i told him the same thing!" She said. "I like the detail though. The blue accents are perfect," i told him. "What show is this from?" Mira asked. "Its an anime called fairytail," ethan told her. "Ive read them! Although i havent watched the show," levy told us. "Me and ethan used to watch it all the time," i explained. "I still watch it!" Romeo exclaimed while wendy nodded. "Well either way i think you guys looks nice," juvia told them. "And lucy you look....cute?" Juvia said looking towards the cross dressing pair. "I think they make cute guys," i said looking at cana and lucy who were both dressed as men. "Please, we make sexy men!" Cana exclaimed. "Lucy it must have been hard for you to flatten your chest," erza said. "It was but get some ace bandages and itll happen," she exclaimed. "Im a lesbian and id fuck me right now," cana said, obviously getting drunker. "Well isnt that lovely..." evergreen commented. "Well what about shelia cute costume?" Wendy said pointing out shelia. "You look great shelia!" I told her. "Are you cupid?" Erza asked her. Shelia nodded, "yeah! I get to created lovely couples!" Shelia said with a glint in her eyes. "Well i think gajeel looks awesome!" Elfman said. "Yeah im frankenstein!" Gajeel said loudly. "Actually youre not frankenstein," levy told him. Lucy giggled, "here we go," she said. "Frankenstien is the name of the scientist- me, who created you. You are the monster who was never given a name," levy told him. "Great so i dont even have a name?" Gajeel asked. "Well at one point in mary shelleys novel the monster refers to himself as 'adam of your labours' which is actually refering to the bible about-" levy was rambling and gajeel put his hand over her mouth. "Okay youre frankenstien and i have no name. Got it, shrimp," he told her. Levy pouted at him. "Now finally, can we talk about the elephant in the room?" Ethan said. "Ive been dying to say something!" Gajeel responded. "Why are you wearing a dress, gray?" Laxus asked with a smirk. "You can see that im elsa. I am a great ice mage!" Gray stood up and showed off his fabulous dress. "Except for the fact that i am elsa," lyon said standing up showing off his similar dress. They even had a blong wig on. "You look....so funny!" Natsu said while cracking up. Gajeel and ethan began laughing too. "Okay guys calm down," jellal said through supressed giggles. "Hey! Dont be jealous because i look fabulous!" He said. "You do look fabulous darling!" Juvia told him. "I think you look really cute juvia," i told her. She smiled and spoke as the boys all calmed down. "Im christoph! I blond wig is a bit itchy but other than that its really comfy!" She explained. "You even the little blush on your cheeks!" Erza said. "You do look like christoph right now," lisanna said. "Well you still look super cute," mira told her. "Speaking of super cute.... i saw those legs when you walked in the door girl!" Cana said looking at me. "I told you it was too short!' Natsu said to me. "Chill out dude, it was a joke. She looks fine," cana said. "You do look amazing, ever," juvia told me. "Aw thankyou," i said, "ive always wanted to dress as tinkerbell but ethan would never be my peter pan," i explained while ethan rolled his eyes. "So thats why youre wearing tights?" Gray asked natsu. "Yeah, hes my peter pan," i said to gray. "Youre wearing a dress so dont even talk to me, boi!" Natsu yelled jokingly. "I think you look cute natsu," erza said. "You do look great!" I told him. "See? Im cute!" Natsu smirked triumphantly at gray. "Well anyway, the wig was really the hardest part of this costume," i explained. "Thats why i went with something where i could keep my own hair color," erza said. "Yeah but i couldnt," jellal pouted next to her. "How about we take some more shots?!" Cana yelled. "One more wouldnt hurt," i said as i passed her my shot glass. Me, cana, juvia and fried all took two more shots together as we all talked about the holidays. Since miras father left she asked ethan if he would like to go to her house for thanksgiving. "Sorry but me and ever try to stick together. You could come over our house. Pkus ever was going to talk to someone else about that...." ethan said looking towards me. 'Oh shit, thats right!' "Hey natsu," i said leaning in closer to him. "Whats up?" He asked confidently. "Would you and igneel want to...come to my house for thanksgiving?" I asked him nervous of his response. "Well id love to but..." he started to talk. 'Of course he doesnt want to," i thought to myself. "We also have thanksgiving with the akabanes. Plus my brother and his wife are supposed to be coming this year," he said. "You- you have a brother?" I asked, shocked. "Yeah he went to boarding school for a while. Now hes working in the big city," natsu said. "Well id love to meet him," i said trailing off. I composed my thoughts before speaking again, "would you all want to come over? I could surely make enough food! Its be so much fun to meet your brother as well," i said. Natsu smiled widely, "ill talk to my dad about it," he told me before kissing my forehead. "Ew! PDA is gross!" Cana said throwing a candy wrapper at us. "Hey! Yoy show more PDA than that every second!" Natsu yelled to her as i threw the candy wrapper back at her. We all spent the night just talking and joking and at the end of the night natsu drove me home. "Ill text you tommorow," natsu said as he parked. "Tonight was fun. Im so happy you could be my peter pan," i said as i turned towards him. "Anything for you baby," he said with a smile. "Youre so amazing," i said as i drifted into his eyes. "Ever i-" natsu stopped for a moment as he cupped my face in his warm hands. "Ever you are the best thing in my life," he said making me blush, hard. "Natsu i-" i began to speak but he shook my head. "Please let me finish. I should have said this sooner," natsu brought my face closer to him as he began to speak again, "ever i really lo-" BEEEEEEEEEP! There was a loud car horn just as he was trying to speak that made us both jump away. We turned around and saw ethan pulling into the drive way waving to us. "That douche," i said to natsu motioning towards ethan who was getting out of his car now. "What were you going to say?' I looked back a natsu who looked...sad? "Oh. Nothing really. You should go in, its getting late," natsu told me. "Okay, but well talk tommorow," i told him as i opened the door. "Ill miss you," he said quietly. I smiled sweetly and kissed him gently before closing the door behind me. "What the hell was that for, ethan?!" I screamed at him as i waved goodbye to natsu. "I was just messing with you guys! Calm down," he said through laughs. "Lets just get inside. Its cold," i said before opening the door. That night me and ethan soent watching halloween movies and eating candy until we fell asleep on the couch.
