Chapter 16- movie night at the strauss'

Ethans POV
Me and mira walked to her house planning on watching a couple movies. "So what kind of movies do you like?" She asked me as we walked. "Well uh, i guess horror movies are my favorite," i told her. She chuckled, "well i guess you have that in common with lisanna." She told me. Before i could ask she explained, "its funny she is so tiny and sweet and yet she loves all those slasher movies," she said. "I guess i just like violence a little too much," i admitted. As we got to her house i asked, "so elfman and lisanna are gonna be here, right?" She nodded her head as we walked in. "Hey lis! Elfman! Im home!" She called out as we entered. "I brought ethan with me!" She yelled. I heard giggling coming from the living room, "hey mira, in here!" Lisanna called out. When we walked into the livingroom lisanna and bickslow were sitting on the couch. Lisanna had her legs slung over bickslows lap as they joked. "Well me and elfman brought over a couple people so..." She trailed off. "Where are elfman and evergreen?" She asked. "Their in the kitchen making iced tea," bickslow answered. "Well im going to get them, set up netflix?" Mira asked lisanna. Lisanna nodded and got off the couch before starting to set up the tv. I sat on the recliner next to the couch. "So what kind of movies would ya want to watch?" Lisanna asked. "I like horror," i told her. Her face lit up and bickslow sighed, "oh great..." He said. "Thats awesome! I finally have someone to agree with me!" She said happily. Just then elfman and evergreen walked in, "please. No, lisanna," elfman said as they sat on the couch. "Ethan agrees with me! Horror!" She said proudly. "I guess im fine with it," evergreen said, "its not like it could scare me," she said. "So horror it is!" Mira said as she walked in. "Okay me and ethan will pick!" Lisanna said. Lisanna was scrolling through the horror movies and we were looking through them as i asked, "so where are laxus and fried?" I asked evergreen and bickslow. "Theyre on a date," evergreen answered, "yeah, bout time too!" Bickslow said. "Oh! Scream! Funny and scary!" I said when i saw it. "Okay im fine with that," lisanna said. We all agreed before turning it on. When it began mira stood up from the couch and let lisanna sit next to bickslow. "Im gonna sit with you," mira said as she approached me. I nodded my head as she sat on the arm of the chair next to me. The movie started and we all watched. Throughout the movie mira began sliding down the arm of the chair. Eventually we were halfway through the movie when i put my arm around her waist and pulled her onto the chair. She was partially sitting on my lap in this position but she wasnt falling at least. "Rule number one: no sex! You can never have sex! Only the virgins will be spared!" The guy on the movie told his friends. Bickslow and lisanna were laughing at least. I felt myself chuckling. Mira looked down at me, "this is the best part," i told her. She looked back to the scrren. "Rule two: no drinking or drugs! Drinking is sinful!" Evergreen and elfman laughed at this one. "And the last rule, never, under any circumstances say, 'ill be right back' cause you wont," we all laughed at this. Mira was laughin with everyone else as we continued to watch. When the end of the movie came along me and lisanna were glued to the screen. Evergreen was already hiding her face in elfmans neck trying not to be scared. Bickslow looked like he was watching lisanna. Everytime she would smile i could see him smile in response to her happiness. During the movie i had slipped my arm around mira. We were both watching intently. "So those two were scream the whole time?!" Evergreen asked surprised. Elfman nodded, "watch! Theyre telling you that now!" He said. When the movie ended we all sat there in silence until i spoke up, "always a classic," i said. Lisanna shot up, "yeah but silent hill is way better," she said. I nodded, "i agree. Silent hill is great," i said. "I dont really like any movie with that much killing," evergreen told us. "Its not too bad. At least it also had some laughs," elfman told her. "I do like how she punched the bitchy reporter!" Bickslow said while cackling. "Yeah she deserved that..." Lisanna trailed off. Finally mira spoke up, "How about we order some food now?" She asked. "Like what?" Elfman asked. "I vote for chinese food!" Evergreen said. We all agreed and ordered ourselves chinese food. We all sat down and talked for a bit until the food came. We got into the topic of couples and we all became visably flustered except for bickslow, "yeah me and lisanna are an item!" He admitted finally. We all stopped speaking when he said this and looked towards him. Lisanna was bright red and not saying a word, "than why isnt it official! My sis is at least worth that!" Elfman told him while mira nodded. "Well i uh-" bickslow stammered, "i uh- i just never- i didnt think- do you want to be official?" He finally asked lisanna while we all watched. "I uh- ive- i have...for a while now," lisanna finally answered shyly. "Well then-" bickslow stood up and extended his hand to her, we were all still watching in silence. "Lisanna, would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked. I heard evergreen and elfman gasp. Lisanna didnt take his hand but jumped up quickly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Of course i will!" She told him. They hugged for a moment until mira giggled and began clapping. I clapped with her, "that was so cute!" Mira said happily. Lisanna and bickslow looked towards us with red faced and laughed. "I think that wouldve been easy if you guys werent here," bickslow said. "Well finally!" Elfman said. "I didnt think you would ever do it," evergreen admitted. I was about to congradulate them when we heard a knock on the door. "That must be the food!" Mira said as she walked to the door. I went with her, when i got there she had out her wallet but i took it out of her hands before she could get her money, "what are you-" before she could finish i handed the delivery boy the money, "keep the change," i told him. He nodded and handed me the food before walking away. "Have a nice couples night," he said before he left. Mira looked at me quizically so i pointed out that he could see behind us where lisanna was on bickslow lap and evergreen had her head on elfmans lap. "Okay, i get it." She said before we shut the door and brought the food in. We all ate our food and talked some more about school, "i heard wendy and romeo really need help in theatre," evergreen said. "Really? How do you know?" I asked. "Well i am an itellect. I write all the scripts. Granted theyre approved by principal makarov," she told me. "What do they need help with?" Mira asked. "Yeah id be glad to help out our theatre club," lisanna said with a mouth full of food. "Well they need actors to be honest. We only have four and three of them are girls," evergreen told us. "Would you three be able to help?" Mira asked us guys. We all looked at eachother for a second before responding, "im not really an actor but i could try, when is it?" I asked. "Its last period," evergreen told us. "But i have child development at that time!" Lisanna said. "And i have student council," i told her. "Well i rarely go to child development anyway so i can still go," elfman said. "Ill ask jellal and erza if they can hold down the fort once in a while," mira said. "And how many days would we have to be there?" Bickslow asked. "Well first we have to pick a play and your roles. The smaller roles will obviously have to come in less often," evergreen told us. "Okay well when you get that all sorted out ask us again," mira said happily. We finally finished eating and went back to the livingroom. "We could watch another movie before leaving i guess," evergreen said. I looked at the time, 9pm. Sure i can watch a movie. "Well what movie?" Mira asked. "Please no more horror," evergreen said. This made me and lisanna both laugh. "Oh i know!" Elfman said. He grabbed the controller and scrolled down the comedy category. "21 jumpstreet?" Evergreen asked. "Oh that movies so funny!" Lisanna said. "I heard it was stupid," i said. "It is but in like- the best way ever. Stupid funny." Bickslow said. "So all three of you are recommendinig it?" Mira asked. They all nodded. "I suppose," evergreen answered. We started watching the movie and sat in the seats we were previously in. Mira was on my lap in the recliner. By the time the movie was over we were all laughing hysterically and my sides hurt. "Okay that was worth it!" I told them. "It was really funny," mira said while still laughing. "I suppose it was better than i intended," evergreen said with a smile for once. Evergreen stood up, "well i guess i have to go," she said. "Oh ill walk you," elfman said standing up quickly. "I have my bus card so i just need to catch the bus at the corner," bickslow said standing up. "Well i can walk you to the corner," lisanna said as she stood up. It looked like bickslow was anout to reject her offer but finally he shrugged, "i guess i cant say no," he said. All four of them walked out and finally mira got off my lap and spoke, "i can walk you home if youd like," she said. "No dont worry. I can get home safe," i told her. She was about to speak but i did first, "besides im thinking about getting a car soon so this will only be temporary," i told her as i opened the door. "Okay, i guess you win. ....this time," she said with a pout. "Aww come on dont pout!" I told her. She kept smiled a little bit. We stood at the door for a moment not speaking until i found my courage. I leaned closer to her slowly. She immediatly closed her eyes and smashed her lips into mine. I was taken aback but obviously reciprocated. We were only kissing for a moment when she pulled away with a light shade of pink on her face. "Sorry i uh- wanted to do that for a while," she finally said. "Well. Thankyou-" i told her. She smiled widely as i tunred around and walked out the door. I only took a few steps out of the house before i turned around and spoke before she closed the door, "goodnight mira. I had a really good time," i told her. She smiled and nodded her head, "goodnight," she said. I finally turned around and walked off of their large property. The whole time i walked home i only thought about that kiss. 'Her lips were so soft and warm. I dont ever remember feeling this way about a girl.' Ive made out with girls at parties before but we were always drunk, not caring who we kissed. 'I actually feel...i dont know, caring? Towards her.' The only people ive cared like this about were my dad and ever. 'But this is different...i care for her just the same way but theres something else in it that i cant explain' I kept thinking as i got closer to home. "Of course shes hot and beautiful but shes so much more. Shes so smart even though she can be alittle ditzy at times. She can make me laugh and smile by just being herself,' i stopped thinking about it when i got outfront of the house. I took out my keys and went to unlock the door, ever would probably be asleep by now. I realized the door was unlocked so i opened the door and went inside. I took off my shoes and put them by the door before walking into the living room. When i walked in i stopped in my tracks, "what the fuck?!" I said a little too loudly. I thought i wouldve woken them ip but neither of them moved. Not only was natsu shirtless and sleeping on my couch but, my sister is sleeping on top of him! I was about to march up to them and wake them up but i figured, 'its not that bad, right?' I looked at them for a moment. Ever was laying her head on natsus chest and his arms were wrapped around her. I lifted up the blanket slightly to make sure that natsu was wearing pants. 'Thank god,' ever was fully dressed in her pjs and natsu had on some basket ball shorts. I out the blaket down and walked upstairs to my bedroom. Finally i realized, 'how are they gonna get up for school? Im leaving early for the council so i wont wake them'. Finally i went into evers room and grabbed her alarm clock. It was the peterpan one that my dad had bought for her last christmas. 'Wow, this is going to be the first few holidays without him'. I pulled myself out of my thoughts and brought the alarm clock downstairs. I plugged it in next to the couch and set it for an hour before school starts. 'Hope thats enough time' i finally went back upstairs and went to bed. I fell asleep quickly because i actually didnt fear going back to school tommorow. 'Ever was right. We did the right thing by moving here'
