I woke up in a haze, wondering where I was. Seeing white above me, I wondered if I was in a hospital or I had made it to heaven. Upon checking my choices, I am in a hospital, I do not deserve heaven.
Knowing that I barged into the Sandaime's office, with my face half scarred off, probably showed him that fun stuff happened. My thoughts were cut off when I noticed that the Sandaime had sneaked into the room. "Jiji." I whisper, quietly as my voice burned.
"Naruto, what happened?" Jiji asked, a stern look adorning his face, but I noticed that he had worry hidden in his eyes.
"The villagers." I muster, struggling to speak.
"The villagers did this to you?" He repeats, I nod my head, my ability to speak dwindling.
"There was a shinobi." I whisper, my voice failing me.
