"GET OUT!" I yelled as I picked up my pink fluffy slipper and threw it at them. In sync, they flew up into the air, swiftly dodging my "lethal" attack.

"But Big Sis, we don't wanna," They whined. "We want to spend the night in your room!" I groaned. I didn't have time for this.

"Come on, I have to sleep and you two know very well that I got school in the morning." They shrugged at the same time like twins always do.

"Only if you tell us what happened-" said Tristan. He always paused so Tamara could finish his sentences. "Because we heard Mother and Father giving you a hard time." Finished Tamara.

I gave them an icy look. Them talking like one person was a pain in the butt. It was so annoying and so unnecessary. They only liked to do it so they could get under my skin. I used to say that they both had one brain. Which means they had half a head in each body so they were dumber than the average Airian. It wasn't the greatest burn, but it worked. However, that instantly made them cry and I got grounded for a week.

"Fine fine," I said conceding. "I snuck out and got caught by a guard. Father wasn't happy about it and Mother only made it worse by talking about Air Mackenzie Academy." They snickered and starting pointing at me and calling me names. I sighed, knowing what their reaction would be. They soon calmed down and finally decided that this wasn't the time to be chatting. They said goodnight and yelled one last name before they flew to their rooms.

"Rascals," I muttered while shaking my head. I climbed into bed and I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I decided to curl up in a ball and take in the words of my Father. A whole new world. That is what the academy is. I won't see my family for 2 years until I graduate but I don't need to put up with my family. The twins won't stalk me and they would bother Mother and Father instead. They would, however, raid my room. I made a mental note to have my maid and a guard to keep watch. My parents don't need to boss me around and the school is more loose about curfew and flying.

That was the least of my problems. I have been homeschooled for most of my life and I'm starting actual school for the first time in five years. In my grade, all my classmates are in their third year of high school and they've known each other for a while. I used to have some besties to hang around with, but they probably hate me because I left them. I used to hang out with them all the time, but my parents wanted me to focus on my royal studies. Ever since then we never kept in touch. My mind soon wandered off somewhere else and before I knew it, I passed out.

I woke up half an hour later. I yawned and sat up. I heard birds chirping and stared out my window to watch them fly in the sunny sky, completely free. I sighed, wishing I could be like one of them. I could fly around seeing the whole world without anyone nagging or bothering me. I would be enjoying the sun and moon, never feeling worried about the future.

After a few more minutes of daydreaming, I got ready. I brushed my teeth and put my best pink outfit on. As the next ruler of Air, I had to make a statement as the future queen. I had my brightest pink day dress on with a neon pink belt on in the middle. I kept my long, thick, pink hair down, combed to perfection. I grabbed my tiara with pink gems and curled my hair around it so it wouldn't fall out during Flying Class. I then got on my pink boots with pink rhinestones. They had tiny heels to boost my height up. I'm five-seven, but I'm aiming for five-eight.

I examined myself. Nice and pink, that was my criteria for clothes and I've met it. I even looked like a princess but looking more like an average student. Satisfied with myself, I went downstairs to have breakfast. I needed a moment of peace before I left and just like always, I wasn't so lucky.
