When we walked in, everyone held their breath as they took in the magnificent beauty in front of them. I had to admit, the Great Hall looked better than before. It must have taken the maids forever to get it this clean and carefully polished. They even turned on the electric candles on the chandeliers. That only happened on rare occasions. My parents were at the back of the room with the twins and their bodyguards.
My father raised his hand and the whole room fell silent. I seriously don't know how he does that. The last time I tried was in front of these rich geezers. They all stopped talking, stared at me, then continued chatting about some sort of nonsense.
My mother waved me forward and I walked to the stage with Seiro trailing behind me. When I got there, Tamara and Tristan gave me a hug and I could see in my peripheral vision that Chiho and Chise were doing the same thing. The audience was awwing from this sweet family moment, but I could hear Sophie and her minions gagging.
It seems my parents could too. "Is something so funny?" Father asked. Sophie was shocked and embarrassed from him calling him her out loud but she held her ground.
"No, Your Majesty."
"Then why would you be laughing at such a lovely reunion," questioned Mother. "Surely you have seen a family before. You aren't as cold-hearted and cruel like Jack Frost, am I correct?"
Sophie was furious and she was obviously going to take her anger out on me but, with all the self-control she has, Sophie said nothing and nodded in response.
"Good, now then. We shall begin the tour." Father announced. Before the room could explode in chatter, he added, "There are four butlers here to give you a tour of the palace," In a blink of an eye, 4 men in suits came out with a sign in their hands.
"Please follow the butler with the corresponding sign that has your grade level. Please excuse us as we attend our royal duties. The twins released me and joined Mother and Father as they left the extravagant hall. We all curtsied as they exited, but Emily curtsied a few seconds too late. Father caught sight of this but said nothing.
I joined Hudson, Seiro, Ellia, and Serena as we explored my home. Emily was a year younger so she wouldn't be joining us. We went to the gardens first and everyone's jaws dropped as they saw the exquisite flowers and plants shining in the daylight. The whole room smelt like the freshest flowers on Air. I don't mean to brag, but they are. The air was cool as a few breezes flew in and kept the whole room from heating up. Different plants varied from height and color. The Royal Gardeners arranged it all in a special way from the shortest and dullest in the front, to brightest and tallest in the back.
I used to love coming here when I was little. It kept me calm and relaxed during my darkest times. Everyone was in awe of the gardens and moans were being made when the butler informed us we had to leave. We had to have enough time for the rest of the palace.
Next is the Hall Of Kings where they hung portraits of all the members of the Royal Family. I was in there along with all my ancestors. There was only one picture of me and I was 8 when they painted it. I was in the Royal Library, staring out the window with a book in my hand. I was gracefully sitting on the ground. My entire back was shown, but not my face. My long pink hair was carefully done so it would shimmer in the sunshine. I was sitting in the light, staring at a book with my gown artfully aligned into perfection. It had taken an eternity for the painter to finish it. I had actually started reading the book in my hand to pass the time since every part of my body had fallen asleep.
We all left the Hall Of Kings to go join everyone else in the Dining Hall. More elegant glass tables had been brought in to fit our guests. I was about to sit next to Ellia and Hudson when I caught my Father's eye. He waved me forward and I sighed in dismay. I flew to the front of the room where my family was sitting and sat next to Tamara.
