Shock hit me in the face like a pail of water. Serena was the first to react from the sudden news. "Like hell, you are Road Ass."

I groaned momentarily forgetting about the latest predicament. "C'mon Serena, don't turn his name into swear words."

She grinned at my palpable discomfort. "I have to name possible perverts like him creepy names."

Rodas cleared his voice, trying to get our attention and changing the subject. "You may not believe me but I am the wizard."

"Oh yeah, prove it," I replied cockily, repeating words from our last conversation. I already believed he was the wizard, but I wanted to know what powers came with that title. It was pretty obvious from the compulsion he used earlier. I guess we all assumed he had some sort of magical object on him.

In a flash, Rodas stood beside me, his hand rested on my shoulder.

I flinched at the sudden contact, his hand still damp from the recent shower.

Everyone either looked shocked or impressed. I struggled to keep a blank face, not wanting to show anyone how that touch was affecting me.

"You can teleport?!" Ellia exclaimed, her eyes widening like a little kid. Adorable.

Rodas was suddenly sitting next to Ellia, showing no emotions on his face. "No, I have super speed."

There was a second pause before the whole room erupted. There were two sides. Serena and Emily clearly didn't believe Rodas and started demanding answers. Well, Serena was the one throwing a fit. Emily was just standing beside her, carefully watching Rodas, in case he attacked Serena. Seiro thought Rodas was telling the truth but just stood next to them to break up a possible fight.

Ellia, Sydney, and I stayed where we were and stared at the ongoing accusations from Serena. After the news, Ellia had a devious look on her. She was most likely figuring out how to incorporate Rodas' power with a prank. Typical Ellia.

Sydney was incredibly bored and the face disappeared from the stone, leaving me to stop Serena.

I sighed and grabbed her bag, rummaging around until I found what I needed. I snuck up behind her, hoping she would be too distracted to see me. Emily wanted to stop me, but Seiro held her back, murmuring words of reassurance into her ear.  Rodas noticed sneakiness and shot me a look. You're only going to make things seem worse.

Serena saw his tiny movement and spun around, getting a sock shoved in her mouth. I wasn't as crazy as Ellia who would have shoved a dirty sock in her. Instead, I'd grabbed her unused purple socks.

Serena's eyes blazed in fury. She reached up to yank the clothing out of her mouth.

"How dare you do this to me?!" She hissed, holding up her fists to annihilate me.

I gave her my most innocent look and replied, "Now, now, Serena, we wouldn't want you killing a wizard huh?"

"If I did manage to murder him, we could always go find another one."

"No, you can't." Rodas piped up, looking more somber than before. His dark eyes turned stormy and darker than usual. "There are only 4 wizards left."

Serena shut her mouth before a snappy retort could come out. The mood became dismal and dark, like despair. During history class, our instructors told us that hundreds of wizards used to roam the clouds above Earth. They say that the number of wizards had dwindled drastically, but we had no idea it would be that severe.
