I continued staring at the television, tuning out the roar of Dana's preppy voice, completely discombobulated.

No. No. No.

I am NOT getting hitched at the age of seventeen, especially before I turn eighteen. The person who made up this incoherent plan was going to die. Even if he was my boyfriend.

In the corner of my vision, I can see Ellia ranting and swearing.

"I am going to chop that bastard up into little bloody pieces and feed his remains to Conway!" She growled, intensely glaring at Hudson onscreen as if she could melt his eyes with her ghastly glower.

Conway was a unique dog. He never travels with us, but Rodas has a special high-pitched dog whistle. Whenever he would blow into it, no matter how far Conway would be, he would come back to answer his master's beck and call.

Her words shook me put out of my murderous thoughts and back into reality. My fingers were tense, gripping the leather on the coach. I relaxed them before I had to pay the fines of ruining Natalie's furniture.

"Why did Dana call Hudson my fiancé?" I asked still puzzling over my newest relationship status. Aww, man. Now I had to go update my social media profiles.

Serena snorted. "That's what we want to know."

"Did he propose to you and it somehow slipped your mind?" Natalie questioned. She had a concern in her eyes, just like a true friend, despite the fact we only met less than three hours ago and we had almost killed her.

I shook my head. "No. If I was engaged, I would at least remember accepting it." I said, confident I didn't fall in a coma or have amnesia.

Ellia shushed us and pointed back at Dana's makeup infested face. "Guys, look at what's happening now."

My eyes refocused on a closeup of Hudson's face. He was speaking to the camera.

"As you all know, Princess Emma has been fined for damage to the palace, breaking an infamous and dangerous criminal out of jail, and unintentional assistance in breaking the Miracle Air,"

Gee, thanks, Hudson. You couldn't have made me feel any worse. Hudson continued on with his speech.

"Since the Royal Court had recently found me unguilty of involvement with the princess, I have been speaking with my future parents-in-law. After a few days of discussion, they have made an agreement with me." He paused for emphasis and effect.

"If Princess Emma manages to revert Air back to its original glory, all charges against her will be terminated. Including the ones against her companions. If not, the groups of renegades will be executed and recorded as traitors." He announced, keeping a straight face during the entire speech. He was almost begging me for a breakup.

"The F is wrong with him?" Serena voiced my thoughts in a more direct way.

I stood up, not caring about her profanities at the moment. I faced my friends, the ones that helped me with the anniversary incident.

"Look, guys, I just wanted to say that I never wanted this to happen. I never wanted our names to be on the top of Air's Wanted List." I took a deep breath before continuing. "You can leave if you want. Go and run off and begin a new life. If you don't want to die before you turn 18, then I suggest you create a new identity and go back to Air. I wholeheartedly understand."

No one spoke, probably too shocked to react. They weren't expecting this from me. Suddenly, Ellia burst into laughter.

"Emma, are you that dense?" She asked, clearly enjoying my now surprised expression.
