Chapter 13-Trust

Today was the 200th anniversary for Air. Today was the day to break Serena out from jail and to save the world. Easier said than done.

That early morning and I mean very early, someone was banging my window. Actually, four people were trying to break it down. I groggily wiped my eyes and yawned, taking my time. The people outside must have been getting impatient because they started kicking and punching down the barrier. I sighed and walked to the window, muttering some death threats.

I opened the window and glared at the intruders. "Can't you guys wait another five minutes for me to get ready?" I was in pink fluffy slippers and my favorite pink pajamas.

Hudson and Ellia snickered while Seiro and Emily kept a blank face on.

"You know Emma, good hostesses don't leave their guest outside.

"Be quiet Ellia and couldn't you have gone through the balcony? I left it unlocked for you to sneak in."

"We had a group debate and the window seemed like the stealthiest and most ninja-like way to break into a highly protected place." Said Hudson in his most serious voice.

I playfully punched him in the arm. "You're going to pay for that."

"Don't worry. I know you wouldn't torture your poor boyfriend." He grabbed a hold of my waist and dipped me. 

Before he could kiss me, I said,"I have morning breath."

"Doesn't matter, you always have bad breath."

This time I kicked him in the stomach and dragged him by the ear to my balcony. The others watched as I locked Hudson outside who was now begging and apologizing.

"I am going to freshen up. No one let him in until I come out. Understood?" They all nodded while Ellia threw in a silly salute. I shook my head and grabbed a frilly pink and gold dress for tonight.

When I came out, Hudson was still outside and Ellia was trying on my crowns. Emily and Seiro were catching the tiaras as Ellia dropped the ones she didn't like.

"How do I look Emma? Am I fit for the title: Hot And Sexy Princess?"

I grabbed my crowns and tiaras and shoved them back in my glass display. "They're not toys Ellia! You can't break these!"

"Oh come on Emma. You gotta let this hot and sexy-" she gestured to herself, "look amazing! After all, it is the kingdom's 200th anniversary."

I said nothing but focused on the risky plan I had made. They were all aware of it and agreed to help me. I closed the dresser and ignored Ellia's persistent requests to try on one more tiara.

Emily was on the side, looking at Ellia and I. Hatred showed clearly in her dark eyes. I walked over to her and kneeled down until I was at her level. "Is something wrong Emily?"

She stared at me in disbelief and took out her sword. "THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG! YOU LET SERENA GET CAPTURED AND SENT TO JAIL! SHE WAS LIKE A MOTHER TO ME!" She clenched her fists. "ALL YOU DID WAS WATCH HER GET LOCKED UP AND DID NOTHING!" Whoa. She was mad. I have never seen Emily throw a tantrum before.

"Emily, I did nothing because of Serena."

She snorted.

"Emily, you know the compassion Serena has. She would rather sacrifice herself then let one of us get a cut." I joked, but it was the truth.

Emily faced her back at me, but it seems I persuaded her a little bit. Seeing as she wasn't trying to kill me anymore, I let Hudson in and he instantly swept me up for a kiss.
