One month later, Serena, Ellia, Emily, and I were in the cafeteria eating breakfast. Seiro was sitting with his roommates which he had greatly objected to. He was hesitant to leave me alone since I had gotten injured twice and once, it was even under his watch. After a heated discussion though, I had to play the Master card for him to reluctantly agree. Today he was sitting with Kameron, Hudson, and Eddie, who was this really nice guy. He had sandy blond hair and was fairly attractive. Sometimes, Seiro would get worried and eat and hang out with us.

Emily was now comfortably spending time with us. She was full of joy as she listened to Serena and Ellia chatting. Once in a while, I would join in, but it usually killed the mood.

As I poked my food around, I reminisced the memory of Emily Godsworth.

When I had left the Artifact Hall that day, I had missed Geography Class and it was Lunch Time. When I met up with my friends, I didn't say anything about the incident because something else took over my brain. It was the sight of Emily eating with Serena, Ellia, and Seiro. She was happily talking to Serena while Ellia stared in amazement. Seiro was emitting a tranquil aura, that I haven't seen since the death of his parents. I was surprised that Emily brought this side out of him. However, this peaceful, sweet, moment was soon ruined by me.

As I walked over, Emily instantly froze at my presence and became silent and depressed as before. There was an awkward silence as I sat down and ate my lunch. It was 2 minutes before Serena managed to coax Emily out of her miserable state and into her almost happy self. She still spoke to Serena, but Emily was examining me like a lab rat almost every 30 seconds. After that, it took a few weeks before Emily finally relaxed at my existence.

I stared out the window, remembering this. When the conversation soon turned to me, I tuned back in. "Hey Emma, are you excited for the trip? I heard we would get to see every single part of the palace!" Exclaimed Ellia.

I looked up in confusion and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Serena sighed in annoyance while Emily glared at me. Emily was doing a good job of being Mini Serena. "The trip, duh! What else would be on our minds? Can't you see that it is currently the hottest gossip?"

I looked around the cafeteria and almost everyone's faces seemed excited and filled with anticipation. They all were discussing the same topic, the trip.

"JUST TELL ME ALREADY! WHAT IN AIR ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" I cried with impatience. My friends just grinned, happy to see that they finally got an emotion on me.

"Jeez Emma, cool it." Ellia teased.

"Spit it out. I live under a rock, ok?"

"Fine," huffed Serena. "The King and Queen had invited the whole school to visit the palace tomorrow! We get a grand tour of almost anywhere there!"

I gasped in shock. We never had this big of a group over. The most people we had were the rich and there were at most only 100 of them. However, Father and Mother must have changed their minds because the whole school totaled about 400. "Wow," I said.

"Wow indeed," Ellia replied. Emily was quiet during our exchange of words but I could see that she was just as curious as anyone to see behind the walls of the palace. Suddenly, the bell rang which ended breakfast and I tried to consume all my food before class. We headed off to our multi-grade gym class. On our way there, Hudson ran up to me.

After a week of pestering, begging, annoying, and a whole lot of roses, I had given into Hudson's persistent attempts to ask me out on a date. We have been going out for about 3 weeks now and we were taking it slow.
