Did you love me or was it all an act (Carl x reader) (Part2)

-Carl's pov-
It's all my fault, it has to be I mean after rereading this letter about 5 maybe 6 times I figured out I must've been the cause. I started to cry, I ran to Enid she'd be there for me, she'd understand that I'm upset and comfort me. She looked at me and said "Hey Carl. What's wrong?" I started crying harder, but managed to get out "(y-y/n) left... She left because of me it's the only smart reason she left." Enid smiled and said "The little idiot is finally gone! Yes I mean yeah I did tell her to leave because no one would care, but who cares she's gone." I looked at Enid in shock, did she just say what I think she said. I glared at her and said "YOU DID THIS NO WONDER NOBODY LIKES YOU!!! (Y/n) was my best friend, now she's out in the open and possibly dead. She's not as worthless as you she's done a lot more things than you have. She actually cared about me, she was supposed to be the... one for me... Enid we're through!" She then started to cry saying she didn't mean it, that she was only joking around. I ran out of her house and ran towards the gates, it's final that I'm gonna ask her back out, she's the one for me. I ran through the open gates and searched for (y/n) the love of my life.

-3 hours later-
After however many hours of searching, I ran into someone. A person and it wasn't Negan, I looked up to see (y/n). I hugged her until I couldn't hug her anymore, I found her I finally found her. I looked at her and said "please don't leave me I missed you, Judith missed you, everyone missed you. I love you too much to let you die (y/n) please come back to Alexandria with me." She glanced at me and said "You don't love me that was all just an act." I sighed and said "No (y/n) I love you so much that if rather get attacked by a hoard of walkers than see you die by a knife. I dumped Enid finally realizing that you're the one for me." I then kissed her thinking she wasn't gonna kiss back, but I was wrong she kissed back. I could feel tears on my hand after I held her cheek. After a minute or two we pulled away. I smiled and said "Please come back baby." She smiled through tears and said "I love you Carl, and yes I will come back with you." Today is the worst and best day ever. Worst because I almost lost the person I love, but the best because I finally found the girl I truly love with all my heart.
