Running into him (Carl)

-Y/n's pov-
I've been running around the forest for hours. I need to find food and shelter just for the night. I have my (Weapon of choice) with me just in case i run into any walkers. I ran through the forest until I saw a house up ahead. I ran into the house, holding my (Weapon of choice) close. I stayed silent for a good minute before reassuring myself that I was alone. I walked around until I saw the kitchen. I opened the cupboards and saw canned peaches. I grabbed as many as I could and put them in my bag. I then grabbed some waters that were in the fridge.
(A/N I know there is no electricity but the house would still have a fridge right) Surprisingly they were a little cold. I shoved them all into my bag that was until I heard a bang on the door. I gulped and said "W-Who's there?" When I got no answer I knew it had to be walkers. I grabbed my bag and ran upstairs into a random room. (The rooms are empty) I looked out the window and saw a huge herd of walkers. I sat in the window sill and thought of a plan. I glanced around the room until I saw a jacket. I picked up the jacket and went to the back door. Luckily one walker was there so I killed it. I put the guts and blood all over the jacket and my (type of pants. Jeans/shorts/ect.) then slowly walked to the front. I then heard gun shots, lots and lots of gun shots. So I decided to run. I ran into the forest ripping off the jacket and quickly placing my bag around my shoulder. Not realizing where I was going I ran into someone. I landed on the ground with and oof. I glanced up to see a boy around my age. He smiled and held a hand out. I gripped his hand and he helped me get up. I smiled and said "Sorry." He chuckled and said "it's alright. What's your name?" I said " I'm (Y/n) and you are?" He smiled and said "Carl. Nice to meet you." He looked behind us and said "Let's go follow me." I followed and he lead me to a fenced area. He then yelled "Dad I got a new friend!" Oh how embarrassed I got after that.
