-Daryl's pov-
How am I gonna tell Merle, he'll probably kill me. Okay so let me explain our little sister got lost and by lost I mean walkers came and she ran into the woods. Carl would probably kill me too, (y/n) was his best friend after the incident with Sophia happened. She helped him think of the future and not the past. I ran to our base and everyone looked at me. Rick looked at me confused and asked "Daryl where's (y/n)?" I looked at the ground and said "She ran off... She took off into the woods, I tried to look for her but her tracks got covered by something. She's a smart gal... I hope she'll try coming back home." Carl ran towards me ready to hit me, sad enough for him Rick and Lori held him back. I hope my little sis can make it all the way back with no pain.

-(y/n)'s pov-
I ran and ran and ran, it's the only thing I could do. I cut my arm open on a piece of metal so in order for my brother to not get hurt I ran. I climbed trees in order to get the walkers away, but they smelt the blood on my arm and clothes. I just hope Daryl comes and looks for me, wait a second I wonder if I can kill the walkers. I mean I did steal a knife from Glenn and he still hasn't noticed. I jumped down and fought the walkers once they were dead I ran in the direction of the base. It's night so I guess I can hide in a tree for the night. I climbed a tree, tied myself to it so I don't fall then I went to sleep.

-2 days later- -Daryl's pov-
It's been 2 days already I hope she's not dead. My chest started to fill up with pain. Why does it hurt so much... why is the pain taking over me. Hershel walked over to me and asked "Daryl is everything alright?" I shook my head and said "It hurts... My chest hurts badly. It's all my fault I could've saved my sister, but i couldn't find her tracks. Why does it hurt so badly Hershel?" By now I'm crying. Hershel smiled and said "Daryl calm down we'll find your sister. You're hurting because you're stressing out. Why don't you go lay down for a little we're going out on a run later tonight. If we see her we'll get her." I nodded and went inside. I know she'll make it I just know it. She's a Dixon for crying out loud.

-(y/n)'s pov-
I saw it.. up ahead the base only a couple more feet and then I'll be safe. I saw Lori looking at me her jaw dropping as she realized it was me. I looked behind me and saw no walkers behind me. Then I blacked out.

-Lori's pov-
I saw (y/n), she passed out. I ran to go get Rick. "RICK!" I yelled. He ran towards me and asked "what's wrong?" I then said "(Y/n) she's back she's outside. She passed out hurry up and help me." We ran towards (y/n) and we picked her up. Glenn saw us carrying someone and yelled "Hershel!" Hershel quickly came back and yelled "Beth clear the table we have a hurt one." We ran inside and laid her down. Everyone gasped as we set (y/n) down. I looked around and asked "How are we going to tell Daryl his sister is here?" Maggie smiled and said "Well daddy's gonna give her a checkup why don't you go get her some food and water?" I nodded and realized Carl was still outside. I went outside and said "Carl I need your help." He ran over to me and said "Yes mommy?" I smiled and said "(Y/n)'s having a checkup now wanna help me prepare food for her?" He smiled and said "yeah!" He ran into the kitchen and grabbed stuff then he grabbed chocolate pudding. I smiled and asked "Carl what are you doing?" He smiled and said "Dad and I found this while on a run, I was saving it for (y/n) and I, but then she left so I was saving it for when she returned." I hugged him and said "that was really sweet of you Carl." He looked at me and asked "How do you know if someone likes you back?" I thought for a moment and then asked "Well Carl who do you like? Is it Beth?" He shook his head and then said "No I like (y/n)." I smiled and said "Well a little birdie told me that she likes you too." We grabbed the pudding and some water and walked towards the room (y/n) was in. Carl ran into the room seeing (y/n) awake and hugged her. Daryl walked into the room and hugged her as well. Daryl started to cry then said "I was so worried about you I thought the walkers got ahold of ya." She smiled and said "I would never wanna leave my three favorite boys in the world. Now let's have some pudding." We all laughed, I'm glad she's back and ok. Out of nowhere Carl kissed her. Daryl smirked and said "I didn't do anything." The two pulled away blushing. Awww I wish I would've caught Carl's first kiss.
