Chapter 7 - Proposal

A week passed from that day I've met my newest friends. And that whole week, we did nothing but to have fun and do things I've never done with anyone before. Like biking at the park, group date, movie night, girls talk, foodtrips, roadtrips and a lot more. Kung saan saan na ko nakakapunta at kung ano ano na natitikman kong filipino food. And swear to the heavens, I'm lovin' filipino foods and places day by day! I must say that I'm really enjoying my stay here.

Today's Sunday, we didn't plan anything for today so I busied myself in reading one of my favorite books, while Paris is busy eating the snack I gave her. Until I heard a knock from my room's door. Ibinaba ko yung libro at saka ko pumunta sa pinto at binuksan iyon. 

"Yes?" I asked the maid.

"Miss Audrey, pinapatawag po kayo ng Mommy at Daddy mo. May mga bisita daw po kasi kayo. Nasa sala po sila." she said to me. I nodded to her as my answer then closed the door of my room and headed down to the sala.

When I got there, I saw my annoying slash jerk boyfriend with the twins and my newest friends happily conversing with my parents. Napangiti naman ako. For the first time in my life, I have friends visiting my house now.

"Hi Audrey!" Gunner, Brent, Venice and Sydney said in unison as they saw me. The twins just smiled and waved at me and Xavier, gave me a smirk. Nice greeting, right?

"Hey, baby. Come here." Dad said.

"Hindi mo man lang sinabeng may mga kaibigan ka na." sabi naman ni Mommy. I bit my lip. Alam kasi ni Mommy at Daddy na never pa talaga akong nagkaroon ng mga kaibigan. I'm sure they've been wating for this to happen.

Tumabi ako kay Xavier. He instantly gave me a peck on my right cheek and said, "Hi." Okay, that's the greeting I was looking for! I felt my face heat up. Sheez.

"Uh, hello? Nandito kaya kami. Mamaya na kayo maging sweet." Venice said.

"Nah, wag ka mainggit, Ven. Nandito naman ako." sagot naman ni Brent and it made us all laugh.

"You've finally made such good friends, baby." Dad commented habang naiiling. Ngumiti naman ako. I'm glad Dad likes them as much as I do.

"Di naman po, sir. Ang totoo nyan kami lang po ni Venice ang good yung mga boys po, nevermind. Hihi. Peace." biglang sabi ni Sydney.

"Sir, wag po kayo maniniwala sa batang hamog na yan." sabat ni Gunner kaya nagtawanan kami ulit.

"No need to be so formal, dear. You can call us Tito and Tita nalang." Mom suggested and they all nodded.

"Tita, pagpasensyahan nyo na po yang mga yan ha?" sabi ni Trey.

"Oo nga po, hindi talaga namin alam ni Trey kung bakit naging kaibigan namin yang mga yan." sang-ayon ni Hunt.

"Nah. Kung alam nyo lang, mas malala pa ang Mommy nyong dalawa kesa sa kanila." Mommy said and it made Dad and her laugh. "Hey, wag nyo ko susumbong sa Mommy nyo ha? Gegerahin ako nun." sabi pa ni Mommy kaya natawa na rin kami.
