Chapter 21 - Boom Panes

Vacation days went by like thin air. But, it was not that boring as well. Gaya ng dating gawi, umaalis alis pa din kaming magkakaibigan yun nga lang medyo naging pahirapan.

Daddy and Tito Travis became so protective of me and Xavier after what happened. Mistulang naging bata kami. They gave out rules before letting us go somewhere and they also gave us 'curfew'. Minsan pa nga hindi na din kami pinapayagang lumabas.

If ever na gusto man namin lumabas, the whole group needs to be present to ask permission and they need to hear the lectures of our fathers. Eventually, Mom and Tita Xaira got fed up of it kaya pinagalitan nila sina Daddy at Tito Travis. Sila naman ang ni-lecture-an at after nun malaya na kami ulit.

"Bad morning." Sydney grumpily greeted us as she sat on the chair. Sakto namang sunod ni Hunter.

"Ako na kasi bahala sayo bakit ba ayaw mo?" Hunter asked her obviously pissed.

"Pwede ba Hunter? May kotse ako. Marunong ako mag-drive. Makakapunta ako sa school kahit hindi mo ko ihatid!" sigaw naman nito sa kanya.

"Whoa, whoa. Calm yo tits people! Ang aga aga sigawan na. Ano meron?" tanong ni Gunner sa kanila pero parehas syang hindi pinansin nito at nagpatuloy lang ang dalawa sa sigawan. O-kay?

"Ihahatid kita!"

"Wag kang makulit!"

"Wag kang pakipot leche!"

 "At ako pa ang pakipot? Gosh! Wag mo nga kong kausapin! First day na first day sira na agad ang araw ko!" inis na sagot sa kanya ni Sydney at kulang nalang ibato na sa kanya yung kutsara.

"Teka nga!" Venice shouted which caught both of their attentions. "What the hell are you two arguing about? Ang aga aga!"

"E, kasi sya e!" they said in unison while pointing fingers at each other.

"Do you want me to smack you both?" Venice replied obviously pissed.

"Gusto ko lang naman na sumabay sya sakin sa pagpasok." Hunter explained.

"E, hindi ko nga kailangan. And since when did you became a gentleman, Perez?" Sydney retorted.

"E, bakit ba gusto mo syang isabay?" I asked Hunter. Suddenly, his eyes widened and his cheeks turned red. Mukhang hindi naman napansin yun ng iba dahil sa busy silang kumain. Napangisi ako.

Oh, this is interesting.

I raised a brow at him waiting for his reply but instead of saying anything he stood up from his seat. "Kung ayaw mo sumabay edi wag! Tara na! Ayokong ma-late!" he shouted and stormed out of the dining room. Natanga silang lahat sa inasal ni Hunter habang ako gusto kong tumawa sa naging discovery ko.

After we parked in the University's parking lot, sabay sabay na kaming naghanap ng room namin since we all have the same schedules. Students kept on whispering and staring at us. But, as always, my friends don't give a damn.
