Chapter 33 - Erin

Nakahinga kami ng maluwag when we found out na wala pa yung professor namin and We won't be noted as late. Pero saktong pag-upo namin sa mga upuan namin, our professor entered the classroom.

"Okay, class. Settle down." She started. "Sorry for being late. I just came from a faculty meeting and we were advised that we should discuss this with you." She continued and brought out a paper from her bag.

"Listen, people. We will have a one-week activity outside the university," She trailed off and the whole class cheered from excitement.

"This is a requirement para sa maka-graduate kayo pag nag-fourth year na kayo. Meaning, this activity is really important for each and everyone of you." she continued and it made everyone quiet.

"Alam naman nating lahat ang mga naging issue. It went viral to the point na maraming hindi magandang nangyari. Ngayon, Mr.Gomez wants to teach you students a lesson which you'll never forget for the rest of your life. Gusto nyang ma-experience nyo ang buhay without everything and anything. Gusto nyang malaman nyo ang hirap at gusto nyang mamulat kayo sa posibleng makaharap nyo kapag dumating na yung time na walang wala na kayo.

Nagbunutan kanina at nabunot ko ang isang bahay-ampunan. I do not know what's waiting for you there since hindi kami ang maghahandle at ang maglo-look out sa inyo roon. At hindi na rin nag-bigay pa ng ibang info ang mga nasa itaas. Still, I want you to prepare yourselves. Alam kong hindi magiging madali ang mangyayari sa inyo doon." She explained.

Nagkatinginan lang ang bawat isa. Still, no one said anything.

"The activity would start Monday next week at meron nalang kayong two days para ihanda ang sarili nyo. Also, yung magiging performance at grade nyo mula sa magiging proctor nyo doon, yun ang magiging grade nyo sa Prelims. Meaning, wala na kayong preliminary exams for this term. Pero kailangan nyong umayos dahil pag bumagsak kayo sa activity na yun it also means na bagsak din kayo sa prelims.

And to make everything short, this activity is both a requirement for your graduation on Fourth year plus, this is your Prelim exam. Goodluck, people."

The announcement was the talk of town. Most of them were curious on what will happen at that activity. But, the rest just don't give a damn kasi prelims lang naman daw at kung bumagsak man daw sila e, may midterms at finals pa.

As for us, kasama kami dun sa mga curious.

"Did Tito mentioned anything to you about this activity?" Ash asked and I shook my head. Hindi ko din talaga alam.

"One week? Anong gagawin natin ng one week sa ampunan?" tanong ni Trey at mas lalo kaming napaisip.

"It's a probability that we would be taking care of the kids pero other than that, wala na ko maisip." Venice replied we agreed for it was true.

Ano nga bang gagawin namin dun? What was Dad thinking?
