Juliana's POV

"Juls, come here. You have to see this!" Jonah said. She's my bestfriend. 

"Stop. Not interested."

"But he's so cute and hot and--" 

"and I don't really care. Alam mo, stop looking for guys to set me up with." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Bakit ba? Are you into girls or what? I can set you up with a girl." I looked at her. Really? I just can't have my peace with this woman.

 "No, my point is walang lalaking makakatanggap ng trabaho natin and I don't like pretending as someone na hindi naman talaga ako."

She nodded. Finally she got me. Natahimik siya. Totoo yung reason ko na 'yun but hindi talaga 'yun ang reason kung bakit ayaw 'ko.

"So anong agenda mamaya?" Bryan asked. Nasa basement kami ngayon and we're having a meeting.

"We have to guard the party. Of course maraming businessmen ang pupunta sa event at maraming kalaban si Mr. Ramir na possible magpunta rin. Main goal is to keep Mr. Ramir and her daughter safe at all cost. He paid us well so dapat lang na maging safe sila. I will guard Mr. Ramir and her daughter. Magikot kayo sa venue. I think magpapakita sila mamaya. They've been sending death threaths to Mr. Ramir" I explained.

This is our job. My father is a Mafia boss and when he died I carried his legacy. We offer this kind of service for the families close to my father. We offer protection and safe transaction.

"Okay noted." Bryan said in response. Tumango din si Jonah and Joaquin. Joaquin is Bryan's brother and lahat kami ay childhood friends. Our parents were friends bago pa kami ipanganak. Jonah's parents are businessmen while Bryan and Joaquin's parents are my father's partners.

We changed our outfit and appearances. Of course party yun so I'm wearing a red backless long cocktail dress  that fits my body perfectly. Naglagay din ako ng holster belt sa both legs ko to put my gun and my knives. I checked my pistol first before ilagay sa holster belts ko. 

Someone knocked on my door.

"Yeah?" I said then the door opened.

"Are you good?" Joaquin asked. He's wearing a tuxedo and his hair is properly groomed.

I grin.

"What?" he asked again.

"Wala, you cut your hair." I said as if he rarely do that. Well, I think ang awkward naman kasi if sabihin 'kong ang gwapo nya ngayon. Baka lumaki pa ulo.

"Yeah, baka magreklamo yung partner 'ko pag hindi ako nagayos." He said while grinning. Yeah, I'm his partner. 'Di ko alam bakit by partner yung event.
