"Alright team, what's your status?" Steve asked quietly over the comms as he made his way through the dark halls of the Hydra building they were taking out. It's been about two weeks since you left with Bucky and they wanted to give you as much protection as possible since you'd already have your hands full.

"Ground level clear." Natasha told him over the comm. Her and Clint were assigned to take care of the agents on the lower level together and gather as much information as they could.

"There's a few bases up north from here, Nat's adding them to our system now. So far that's all the information we can find Cap." Clint told him.

"Copy that. Thor, Bruce, what's your status?" Steve asked.

"No one has come to the roof besides a few guards that Thor took care of. Haven't had to go green yet." Bruce replied over the comms sounding slightly uneasy.

"Come on Brucey! Let off some steam!" Tony told him over the comms as he followed Steve.

"Tony..." Steve said in a warning tone, he knew tony was only trying to ease the tension that the group was feeling, but this was serious to Steve and he didn't want anyone joking around.

"Sorry Cap, you know I meant no harm by it." Tony replied as he walked in front of Steve to see if his suit could find any hear signatures. After scanning every room, the only signatures he found were his own and Steve's. "We're all clear on this level Steve. Any idea where they might be keeping their info locked up?" Tony asked as he walked past each room, searching for any traps hydra might have sent for them.

Steve looked around the hall cautiously until one room caught his eye, an experimentation room. "Follow me." Steve told him quietly. When he entered the room he noticed there were files scattered all over the place. He picked one of the files up and his eyes widened when he read what was in there. "Tony, they're experimenting on people." Steve told him as he handed one of the files to Tony.

"These people aren't surviving, why do they keep getting more?" Tony asked as he read some of the information that was written in the files. "Steve, who's blood are they using for this?" He asked nervously when he saw a picture of you when you were younger in all of the files, the same picture from the original file Steve had in the hospital.

Steve grabbed the picture and file from Tony and looked over the information again. He read in your file that Zola took as much blood from you as he could every once in awhile and stored it away so he could use it for tests, and now it was being used to try and make people like you. Hydra was going to try and create someone as powerful as you to used against the Avengers. "We need to take as many bases down as we can before they succeed at this. There's no telling what they can do with y/n's blood and Loki's septar."

"What do we do cap?" Tony asked as he had Jarvis enter more of the base locations into the system.

"Avengers, move out." Steve told all of them over the comms. "We need to move to the next base."

You slowly opened your eyes when you smelt something sweet coming from the kitchen. You looked at the clock on your nightstand and saw it read 10:00am. You didn't normally sleep in this late, normally Bucky would wake you up before then, but for some reason he didn't today. It had been two weeks since the two of you had started to go on the run. You found a small apartment in Brooklyn, you figured it would be a good start to get some of his memories back a little faster. His progress was going great even though it was slow, you weren't going to over work his mind and risk losing everything.

You were pulled from your thoughts when you heard the sound of plates being placed on the kitchen table. You decided you'd see what Bucky was up to, slowly making your way out of bed, you put on a robe and some slippers and made your way out to the kitchen. You were about to walk through the doorway when you noticed he was setting the table and getting food ready. He hadn't noticed you were standing there yet so you decided to just lean against the door frame and watch him work. His mood had gotten a lot better since the first day and little things like this were even enough to trigger some type of memory within his mind.
