"Daddy I can't do it, it's not working." You told your father in a frustrated tone. You had been trying to make a duplicate of yourself for hours with no success. You wanted to learn more about your abilities, so Loki decided to teach you, but he wasn't getting through to you with this one.

"Try again princess, just like me. Watch." Loki threw his hand in front of him to create an exact replica of himself, and then another. Once he was finished the three Loki's turned to you, "give it another try." The three of them told you.

You huffed, but proceeded with your attempt, only to fail for what felt like the millionth time. "I can't do it..." You told him quietly as you finally stopped your efforts. You let out a heavy sigh as you sat on the ground, after trying to do the same thing for hours your body needed to rest.

"Y/n, darling, if you give up it will bring you no closer to succeeding." Loki told you as he crouched down beside you.

"I seem to remember telling you the same Loki." Frigga told him as she entered the room, making her way toward the two of you. Once she was right beside you she whispered something to you, "you know, it took your father a week to learn this trick." She told you, pulling back to reveal a smirk.

"I heard that." Loki huffed from beside you, he was slightly annoyed that it was brought up but he knew where Frigga was going with this. "Mother, how did you manage to teach me?" He asked.

"Well, better than your teaching her if you ask me." She joked, earning a glare from Loki that only lasted a second once he heard a small laugh from you, then he began to laugh as well. "Take a break Loki, I will teach her." She told him sweetly, "does that sound alright child?" She asked you. When you gave her a small nod, she smiled and began to help you up.

"I'll be in the garden once you've finished princess." Loki told you, he gave you a kiss on your cheek and then left. He wanted to stay and help, but he couldn't hide the fact that he was growing rather tired as well.

Once he left it was just you and Frigga in the room together, you loved your grandma but also felt slightly intimidated by her. She knew almost every spell there was to know and everything came to her easily. "Are you ready y/n?" She asked you softly, pulling you from your thoughts.

"I can't do it grandma, every time I try it doesn't work." You told her sadly, you felt disappointed that you couldn't master this simple spell, you had no trouble with the other ones and even taught yourself a few, but creating duplicates simply couldn't be done.

"Now I know my own granddaughter isn't giving up now is she?" She smiled as she kneeled down beside you, "you're thinking about it too much dear. Relax your mind, think of only things that bring you joy, let go of your fear." She told you, confident that you would be able to do it. "Try again."

You took a deep breath and relaxed your mind as she told you to. Instead of only thinking of mastering this trick, you decided to think of her and of your father, they always made you the happiest out of your family. You let out that deep breath and closed your eyes, extending your hand in front of you. After a moment you slowly opened your eyes again to reveal a perfect clone of you. "Wow..." You whispered to yourself as you reached out to touch the clone. When you looked up at Frigga she wore a proud smile. "I did it! Grandma I did it!" You shouted excitedly as you ran into her awaiting arms.
