Chapter 7-diary entry 3(still)

The door bell rang and my heart stopped. Gaga. I checked myself in the mirror, and the took a deep breath. I headed down the stairs to find that my mom had already answered the door. "Amy. Visitor." she grunted, going straight back to her work. "Who is she?" Gaga asked, as I waved her in the house. "My mom." I replied coldly. "Ah" she said soothingly. I led Gaga up to my room and we settled on my bed. She looked around, and my cheeks grew a little red as she looked at all of my posters of her. "So, what's going on baby?" She asked, looking at me. "Well.. A lot. I just feel so alone sometimes. My mom literally does not care about me at all. She can never be bothered to even say two words to me. My dad doesn't like me either, I have no friends.. I just.. I feel like no one loves me." I dropped my eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks. "Amy, are you kidding? I'm sure there are so many people that love you. Heck, you're sitting with one right now. I love you so much! Your parents are fools. I don't see how anyone could not want to be with you." Gaga said. "Well, because I'm always annoying and in the way." I whispered. "No. You're not. Ever. Don't you ever say that. You have a purpose, your life has a purpose." She said, squeezing my hand tightly. Her eyes began to look around again, and she squinted. "What's this?" She asked, standing up and walking towards my dresser. She picked up the razor I'd thrown on the floor earlier. "Amy.." She said, holding it up for me to see. "I.." I couldn't find any words to say. "Why baby?" She asked, sitting back down next to me. "Please don't be mad! I didn't use it. I was about to, but then you called me and I.." She shook her head, "I'm not mad. Just.. Sad." She slipped the razor in her pocket. "I'm keeping this." She stated. Just then her phone rang, "hold on just one second" she said, answering.

"Oh no.. I forgot I was supposed to go over to my parents for dinner.." My smile faded a bit, "Oh.. Well that'll be nice." I said weakly. "Hey mom, is it ok if I bring a guest?" Gaga asked into the phone."Ok great" she said, hanging up. "Amy, how would you like to come with me?" My mouth fell open. "Really? Well.. I. I'd love that." She smiled, "Great! Lets go!" I grabbed my coat and bag, and me and gaga went to tell my mom I was leaving. "Mom, I'm going to Gaga's for dinner.." I said, smiling to myself as the words came out. "K" my mom answered, still staring at her computer. "Excuse me, Amy's mom." Gaga said, tapping my mom on the shoulder. She turned with an annoyed frown. "Yes?" She replied hatefully. "I'm taking your daughter with me for dinner. Please pretend you care about her for five seconds and acknowledge that she exists." My mom just sat there staring up at her speechless. "Bye, Amy." she said. Then Gaga put her arm around me, led me out the front door.
