Chapter 52-diary entry 19(still)

"I need you more.. Need you more.. I need you more than dope." Gaga's finger hit the last note on the piano and I threw my arms around her, tears uncontrollably streaming down my face. "I love you so much Amy." She whispered, squeezing me back tightly. "Everyone, I have a very big announcement to make." Gaga said, turning back towards the microphone, her voice shaky from crying. "I am in the process of adopting Amy." She said, looking out into the crowd. The entire room filled with roars, whether they were good or bad, I wasn't sure. I looked out and again saw thousands of claw formations, and realized that these were the real fans gaga had been talking about, they're the ones who are my family. I realized I was practically sitting in Gaga's lap, so I slid off next to her again as she was looking over the piano intently. "I hope you know that you're all special to me," gaga began, "It's just something about this girl captivated me. She stole my heart, and I'm sure she will do the same to you. I just hope that you all will give her a chance. I know you were not the ones sending her the hate. If you were, I'm sorry, but I fail to believe you are truly one of my little monsters. All of you here tonight are the reason I am where I am today, and I cannot thank you enough for that. I hope that nothing ever changes between us." I sat, listening intently to Gaga's every word. "So.. This song is for you guys, and Amy, because you all are the most important people in my life." She began to play the intro for gypsy and my heart jumped a little in my chest. I smiled brightly and listened in awe. "Sometimes a story has no end.. Sometimes I think that we could just be friends.." I sang along quietly, sharing the moment with all of the other fans, tears continuing to stream down my face.

How on earth can one person be so lucky?
