Chapter 96-diary entry 40(still)

"I.. I.. I'm sorry." Gaga said, looking at the floor, "I'm just so happy and nervous. Of course, I do." We all let out a long sigh, the tension in the room thinning. "If anyone has a reason to object, you may speak now or forever hold your peace." Of course, no one stepped forward, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Tears streamed down my face as Taylor and Gaga kissed, finalizing their marriage. I felt nothing but happiness flow through me. The small group of us all went to the little area designated for the reception, where we were met by some friends and family that hadn't been invited to the ceremony part of it. The night was full of music, dancing, Gaga tears, and family. After a couple hours everyone was ready to go home, so Taylor, Gaga, and I all piled in to the car. "Amy, I actually have a surprise for you." Taylor said, once we had gotten situated. "What's that?" I asked. "Me and Gaga were talking, and I'm going to add my name to the adoption papers. Now I'll officially be your dad." I smiled widely, tears coming to my eyes for the fiftieth time. "Really?!" I squealed, hugging him. "Of course! We're already a family, now we're just an official family." At that point, my smile was concrete. Not one thing could take it away from me.

Once we got back to the apartment, I got ready for bed and watched a movie while Gaga and Taylor surprisingly went straight to sleep. Once I finally felt tired enough to sleep, I closed my eyes, and dozed off with a giant smile on my face.
