Chapter 56: Wish granted?

*Unnggaaaa!! *Unnngaaa!!

Nagising ang mag-asawa dahil sa lakas ng iyak ni Baby Ralph.

“babe ikaw na.. “ inaatok na sabi ni Sarah.

“Hmm…” Gerald answered with a sleepy voice. Nag-uunat pa siya but when he turned to his wife, he saw no one.

He stood up and went dow stairs. He saw Sarah trying to make their son some milk. Baby Raler is sitting on top of their kitchen table.

“Babe?” he said that made sarah stop from what she’s doing and look at him. He saw how tired his wife is. “Let me.. ako na” he said habang lumalapit sa asawa.

“It’s okay” Sarah was working all day. At the morning she was the one taking care of Raler then after lunch, dahil may shooting si Gerald, Ay may rehearsals ito para sa kanyang comeback.

Isasama niya sana ang anak, pero nagvolunteer si Divine na mag-alaga sa apo. Unang nakauwi si Gerald kesa kay Sarah dahil napahaba pa ito nang biglang magpatawag ng meeting si Boss Vic.

Pag-uwi pa ni Sarah ay hindi pa ito nagpahinga. She played with their son. She says it’s important to give time to their son.

“babe let me.. matulog ka na” naawa naman si Gerald dahil sa kabagalan niya ay napilitan pang bumangon si Sarah.

“I got this” he added. “Matulog ka na”

“Ge..” she look at him. “ok” she give him a weak smile and seat in the kitchen and played with her son.

Gerald just smiled. ‘Kahit inaantok makulit ka parin’ he said to himself while preparing Raler’s milk. After cleaning the bottle, kumuha ng breast milk si Gerald sa ref. Nag-iiwan si Sarah ng gatas dun para incase na nasa trabaho siya ay meron paring gatas ang anak niya.

Once he finished making the milk, he saw the two playing.

“Bulaga!” paglalaro ni Sarah sa anak. Raler just keep on laughing to her mother, then suddenly he hugged her.

“ma-ma”

Sarah  was shock, so is Gerald. Sarah remove raler from the hug and look at him in the eyes. Then she looked at her husband.

“Narinig mo?” she said happily.

“Yeah! My little boy is talking” he said as he approach them. Ibinigay niya kay Raler ang bote. The little boy look at him as he handed him the bottle. Raler smiled at him that melt his heart.

“da-da” he said that made his parents happier. Kaagad binuhat ni Gerald ang anak at hinalikan ito sa pisngi. “Dad and Mom love you” he said as he kissed his son’s chubby cheeks.

“Ganito pala pakiramdam kapag tinawag ka ng anak mo no” Sarah stands and hugged the Gerald, who is now carrying their son, from the back.

“Right. Ano mang pagod mawawala kapag narinig mo yung anak mo” he replied then kissed his wife on the lips.

“Sige na please!” kanina pa nagmamakaawa si Johna kay Sarah. Kanina pa niya sinusundan si Sarah, na paikot-ikot sa buong bahay.

“Ate! Ano ba ikakasal ka na!” Sarah walked from the kitchen to Raler’s room on the second floor.

“Ano ka ba ngayon lang to!” medyo naiinis na siya dahil hanggang ngayon ayaw pumayag ni Sarah sa alok niya.

“Ate” Sarah faced her. Kaya naman napatigil ang dalawa sa gitna ng hagdanan. “Alam ba ni Fred to?”

“not yet” she said as she bites her lips. Then she gave her younger sister her best puppy eyes.
