Ch. 11: Team Zeta

The door swung open in Kenzie's room. She let out a groan and looked at her door. The door revealed a young man named Soren. He had a black shirt covered by a blue hoodie, his eyes were dark brown, like his hair, he had black jeans and dark blue fingerless gloves, on his shoulder was a patch, a black circle with three blue figures, all a different shade of blue, he had metal bracelets around his wrists.

"Come on! We're all waiting on you!" He said just to get a groan back. He closed the door and walked to the rest of the team.

Sebastian, or Seb as his friends called him, had light brown hair and blue eyes. His attire consisted of a long sleeved green shirt with the sleeves rolled up just past his wrists and blue jeans, a four leaf clover was on his shirts front.

A cyan haired girl, her hair was in two pigtails, by the name of Lily, had on a cyan shirt showing part of her belly and a pair of blue sweat pants, she had green eyes, an ice shard on her shoulder.

Mike had a muscular build, he had blonde hair that covered his blue eyes partially, a black T-shirt covered his chest along with blue jeans covering his legs, his symbol was a triangle with a gash in it.

"Is she really fit to be a leader? We're waiting on her." Mike said.

"She is a worthy leader!" Lily said crossing her arms. "She just isn't a morning person."

Soren sighed. "Relax, she's a skilled fighter and knows what to tell us in battle."

"Right." Mike nodded.

Kenzie came out of her room, equipped in a black T-shirt with sleeves rolled to elbows, black skinny jeans, a blue vest, and katana sheath straps forming an 'X' on her chest. A blue circle with two black katanas crossing eachother on her shoulder. She brushed her through her silky soft, long brown hair. She unfolded black sunglasses and placed them over her green eyes. "Talking about me?" She asked.

"They were." Seb said leaning against a wall.

"Let's just go." Mike suggested.

They walked out of the door and down the road. Kenzie stopped by a concession stand to grab a Churro. "Want anything?" She asked her team.

They all shook their head no and they continued walking. They soon arrived at their destination, a facility owned by the Black Lance. Kenzie took the last bite of her Churro. "Let's go."

Kenzie led her team inside. Once there, they began to look around. They found an area full of Skugga in electrified bar cages.

"What...is this..?" Seb asked.

"This is horrible..." Lily said.

"They deserve it." Mike said.

"Yeah, but still, why capture them?" Soren asked.

"Maybe that will tell us." Kenzie pointed to a computer across the room.

"Nobody finds it peculiar that nobody is here at all?" Mike questioned.

"Maybe they're eating lunch?" Suggested Kenzie as she started walking towards the computer, not flinching from of the enemies swinging their arms at her. Lily on the other hand was terrified jumping into Sebs arms. Mike and Soren continued like Kenzie.

"Soren, computer." Kenzie ordered.

Soren nodded and sat down at the computer. As soon as he pressed a button the door they walked in closed shut with an armor plating.

"What happened?!" Kenzie yelled as a loud voice echoed. "We've been expecting you." The voice said.

The electric cages flickered off and the Skugga roamed out charging at Team Zeta. "Really!?" Yelled Kenzie as she pulled out her duel katanas.

Soren folded out his wrist bands into gauntlets, the gauntlets folded out slightly on the knuckles revealing a sharp blade on the ends. Seb pulled the maces from his sides, each mace had four razor sharp spinning blades on the ends. Lily twirled her hammer as it turned into a rifle, she loaded the rifle and aimed it. Mike just put his fists up. War Hogs, Slekias, and, Vorkers ran at them.

"We need to get to that door!" Kenzie yelled.

They ran towards the Skugga. Mike kicked one hard sending it flying, he then put his foot to ones head and shot through his gun shoe making it's head explode.

Lily ran at some Vorkers, she shot them a few times. She transformed her rifle in to her hammer and jumped over them smashing one in the back. The other two turned around and charged at her. Seb jumped down with his duel machetes and slashed their backs. Lily gave him a warm smile.

Soren jumped into a group of Slekias, he punched off two of their heads and continued slicing the other heads off with his sharp gauntlets.

Kenzie casually walked up to a mixed group of all of them. She blew the hair out of her face and ran up to them, using only one slash to kill each one.

The team eventually made it to the door, Mike kicked it open.

Seb looked at Kenzie. "They'll just follow us!"

"You all go." She said.

"What about you?" Soren asked.

"Somebody has to blow this place up."

"What?!" Soren screamed.

"Quit being a baby and go."

Soren sighed before grabbing the collar of Kenzie's shirt and kissing her. Kenzie stood there in shock for a second but kissed back. Kenzie broke the kiss.

"You're better at kissing then I thought." Kenzie smirked before running off. Soren sighed and ran the other direction along with the others.

"Told you." Lily said referring to Mike.

The others made it outside and a good distance from the facility.

Kenzie was running and killing enemies. She made it to a huge room with the energy core. Kenzie locked the door behind her. She walked up to the computer and began to type, having no luck since she's bad with computers.

'Damn.' She thought. She grabbed her sword and slashed it into the glass, but it didn't break. Kenzie put her swords away. 'They'll get bored of me soon.' Kenzie then took a deep breath and put her hands out. Rocks from the outside began to tear through the metal plates of the facility and threw them at the glass shattering it, she used the rocks to form a seal around her.

Outside, the facility exploded. Seb looked at Lily. Lily looked at him and smiled. He leaned in and was about to kiss her when a huge rock boulder smacked him away. The boulder crumbled in to pieces and Kenzie came from the rubble. Kenzie saw a blushing Lily.

"Does that mean you and Seb kissed?" Kenzie asked.
