Ch. 31: Upsilon vs Omicron

"And for the final first round! Team Omicron of  Cobalt Axe versus Upsilon of Silver Sword!" Johnny said with a grin.

"This should definitely be a fun battle!"

The two teams smiled as they took stance. The battlefield landed as "city." Tall buildings appeared from the particles along with trees scattered next to roads. The buzzer rang as the round started.

Flynt cupped his hands around his mouth blowing fire from it. When the fire disappeared, all of Team Upsilon was gone.

"Stay sharp!" Velvet yelled gripping to her whip. She closed her eyes as the map of the area appeared in her brain. She opened her eyes thrusting her whip to the right where she caught Jenny off guard slamming her in to the ground.

"Jon! Your left!" She yelled as Flynt came through a building attempting to hit Jon. He blocked and took stance. "Fox!" Velvet said throwing the blade part of one of her whips at Wolf. He caught it and the two leaped off the ground a bit. Wolf stuck in to the wall with his claw gauntlets, and Velvet attached with her second whip. The flexible band straightening. Fox leaped off the side of a building and landed on the band squatting. The band began to straighten again as she was thrusted in to the air landing on a tall building, and pulling out her sniper.

Wolf landed to the ground getting in a boxer position. Daisy ran at her with her sword in hand. Hope and Alexis made their way up to where Fox was. They smirked walking towards her. Chase came down hard cracking the area of the building he landed on. He stood up slamming his gauntlets together with a smirk. "Ladies." He said with a wink. Hope just rolled her eyes as Alexis grew a soft blush. Hope shot him with her shotgun, but he blocked the bullets with his gauntlets. Fox turned around. "You focus on them! I'll take them on." He said with a smirk as Fox turned back around aiming through her scope. The two girls rushed him.

Jon jumped back as Flynt tried hitting him again. He pulled out a knife. Flynt rushed him turning his staff in to three sections, and swinging at him. When he was close enough, Jon threw a throwing knife in to him catching him by the collar of his shirt. "You're too cocky." Jon said slamming him in to the ground and threw another knife at him. He flashed yellow. "JOOON!"

Jon looked up to see Chase slamming in to him. The two flashed yellow falling limp. Velvet let out a sigh. "Three v four... we've got this." She said to herself. "Wolf! Go help Fox! I'll handle these two!" She yelled getting both whips ready. Jenny and Daisy smirked as Wolf dug his claw gauntlets into the side of the building. He made his way up to the top and hit Hope by surprise. She stumbled back as Fox felt relieved that she only had to handle one.

Velvet dodged to the side with a roll whipping her whip at the two girls. Daisy detached her knife with the string and whipped it at the whip. They tangled as Daisy attempted to pull Velvet back, but Velvet thrusted her whip back sending Daisy flying off as the weapons untangled. Velvet gasped as she then started falling towards a building, as if her gravitational pull was changed.

Wolf ducked under Hope's shotgun attack and lunged at her. He threw a punch at her, but she blocked with her shotgun. Wolf opened his fist and slung it at the girl. The claws hit her, and when they did, Wolf didn't stop. He kept striking mastering every hit as Hope flew back landing with a thud and flashing yellow. He turned back to see Alexis being thrown at him. Fox was aiming over the edge with her sniper.

Wolf groaned. "Do I have to do all the work?" He asked himself running at Alexis.

Velvet fell on to the building with a thud. She was defying gravity at the moment. Standing on  the building as if it were the gravitational pull for Melanzana. She stood up, but her gravity was changed as she slammed in to the floor. A grenade landed by her. She gasped jumped out of the way with a roll. Daisy came from behind her with a slash of her sword. Velvet was sent flying in to a wall, and she struggled to stand. Jenny was about to slam her bat in to Velvet as a loud boom echoed through the arena. Jenny fell to the ground with a thud and flashed yellow.

Wolf fell to his knees holding his ears. "Gah! Really!? No warning!?"

"Sorry love!" Fox said with an innocent smile.

Wolf was then kicked off the building by Alexis. He landed on the ground flashing yellow. Fox glared at the smirking Alexis before running at her. Alexis slashed at Fox, but Fox jumped over her doing a front flip, pointing the barrel to her head, and shooting. Like her comrades, Alexis flashed yellow.

Velvet stood up and looked at Daisy. They both whipped eachother at the same time, both fell limp, and flashed yellow. Fox threw her fist in the air.

"And Team Omicron has won the final first round!" Johnny said.

"And what a close one this was!" Eugene yelled.
